Last week, as we reported here, his line was that although Americans might see her as a "liar" and "dishonest," nobody thinks she's "unpatriotic." That such a thing could exist, that such a thing could even be proposed without being rejected in gales of derisive laughter, is a damning indictment of the modern Academy. A degree in Literature (for example) might not be terribly useful, but it is not inherently harmful. Politics as a profession, and the various academic departments which support it, are pure poison.

The problem with that argument is that this is one crime where intent is not required in order to be guilty. Gross negligence is sufficient to prove guilt. So even if she had the purest of intentions, if her negligence allowed top secret information to be received and stored on her server, she is just as guilty as if she planned to do so.
In her heart, the woman in Kentucky who refuses to perform gay weddings also didn’t do anything wrong. But she IS SITTING IN JAIL.

That is entirely the crux of the problem. The IT guy who set up the system was a Hillary campaign worker whom Hillary had hired by State, and Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills were Hillary aides who most likely did the transferring of information between systems. I find it hard to believe that a career State Department employee would do it.
