Hi Kathy, I did absolutely nothing today other than do a little shopping and FReep.
I'll get together with college-boy in a couple of days to hang out.
I still have tomorrow off so more relaxation on the way.
Did your Mom enjoy the visitors?

She did! Wasn’t sure how 2 would work out because her hearing is not good. But, the friend who regularly visits recognized her getting tired, so the visit broke up after a couple hours, and she got her afternoon nap.
And she felt like she was entertaining...she got out plates and glasses and cookies for dessert (I stopped at McDonalds on the way home after picking one up...her regular guest doesn’t drive) and I think it went well. She needs someone besides me to talk to...and plan something on her own.

Good evening, Mac...*HUGS*...did you get to rest on Labor Day? Ready to take on the new short week?
I hate Monday holidays for payroll. Checks still have to be cut on Wednesday, so Monday and Tuesday have to be crammed into Tuesday.

It went well, but one-on-one is probably the best. The two visitors knew each other from years ago, but all had lots to talk about. Even if Mom only got 50%, this is good.

I didn’t labor TOO hard, in other words! LOL!

I labored a full day today in honor of many generations of my ancestors who labored under merciless taskmasters and fought their way to this Nation in coffin ships for a chance to have new life and Freedom.
By virtue of their having hazarded all, I enjoy the benefits of living in Freedom.
Having worked, I now go to my rest.
