Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump stated that while Theres only so much we can do. We have to fix our own country the US should help as much as possible with the European refugee crisis and possibly let some refugees into the US on Fridays broadcast of MSNBCs Morning Joe.
Trump was asked about the European refugee crisis and, Should we be letting some of those people into this country?
He answered, So horrible on a humanitarian basis when you see that. Its like incredible whats going on. But, you know, we have so many problems. And the answer is possibly yes, Cokie, possibly yes.

So Trump is gonna run as a conservative and make conservative promises and then win with that message and then do a 180 on all his political promises and enact liberal policies?
Name another liberal you trust.
Works for me.
Thanks But it’s just another opportunity for supporters of liberal Donald Trump to defend him while attacking conservatives.
works for me too— common ground
Very interesting video. I wasn’t fully aware of the role that both Reagan and Bush 43 played in this. Kind of scary, isn’t it? People need to wake up to who Ted Cruz really is. Is he really an outsider or an insider to destroy the sovereignty of the U.S.? Questions to ponder.
I’m so close to the US/Mexican border I can climb the hill behind my home and see it. I would like nothing more than a Republican president who will do something about ILLEGAL immigration. I just don’t trust liberals so I don’t trust Donald Trump. You’re free to believe him, you’re free to believe he is a conservative, and I won’t even attack you for it. Strange how that works, huh?
You don’t know what he will do— but if his main campaign pledge is to stop illegal immigration and build a wall and then he runs with that and he becomes president on that promise then it defies logic and common sense that he would get into office and say— I changed my mind— forget the wall— let’s have an open border..
I don't trust Trump to make conservative Supreme Court choices, either.
Can you name another liberal you trust?
The truth is getting out. It’s important to separate those who know and don’t care from those who do care. It’s likely that most readers know what’s going on by now.
If we know what’s going on, things might get rough anyway. But at least we’ll have the knowledge and time to prepare ourselves.
It's the equivocation that bothers me. He's done it on deportation. He's done it on Planned Parenthood. Equivocation seems to follow each of his declarative statements. It suggests that he's a man who knows how to move the crowd, but hasn't thought through his position in its entirety. Nor is he committed to act in accordance.
“We have our own immigration and refugee issues to deal with. Naturally, they have a higher priority than Europe’s.”
He did in fact say that.
That is a fine report, granny. Thanks
From article that had a misleading headline:
So horrible on a humanitarian basis when you see that. Its like incredible whats going on. But, you know, we have so many problems. And the answer is possibly yes, Cokie, possibly yes. But we have so many problems of our own. We have border problems that are big league that I exposed. I think if I didnt expose them, I dont think youd be talking about them right now. I mean, its become a very big subject of debate. And its not so much debate. People now realize I was right when I made that initial statement, and by the way, took a lot of heat for about a two week period, until people realized what was going on. But we have our own problems. We have so many problems to solve. Our country is broken. Our we owe now you know Ive been saying 18 trillion, we now owe $19 trillion. Its going to go up very rapidly from this point forward. You know that 18 stayed there for a long time. But now if you look at the numbers and the balance sheets, its going to go up very rapidly. Were at $19 trillion. Theres only so much we can do. We have to fix our own country. Now, Europe is handling it. Germany has been very generous so far, which is very surprising to me, to be honest with you. But theres a huge problem, and we should help as much as possible, but we do have to fix our own country.
Notice: “We have a border problem...” I assumed you read it.
Why the "possibly"...???
Why the "possibly"...???
Why...The...Equivocation???!!!
Remember, people demand specifics.
They're all over the map. I've seen some who, though they liked what Trump was saying I could tell they knew he was full of sh&t.
Then there are those who actually believe everything he says. The type who think (and said) that because Trump is a good golfer, he will make a good president. Yes, *some* are that stupid.
How can you possibly say that to someone who started a thread based on a partial quote that turns the truth into a lie?
Gee whiz, isn't it interesting he became very conservative just of late. There's a whole host of issues Trump is not only not a conservative, he's just a greedy SOB out to get his. His stance on Kelo vs. Connecticut proves that.
And of course, The Donald made many deals with Dems to get more dough. Now, why is it that I don't trust Trump? Because he's proved himself quite unworthy of trust from conservatives by his many past statements and actions to the contrary. If he's a conservative, it's only for current convenience.
