Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump stated that while Theres only so much we can do. We have to fix our own country the US should help as much as possible with the European refugee crisis and possibly let some refugees into the US on Fridays broadcast of MSNBCs Morning Joe.
Trump was asked about the European refugee crisis and, Should we be letting some of those people into this country?
He answered, So horrible on a humanitarian basis when you see that. Its like incredible whats going on. But, you know, we have so many problems. And the answer is possibly yes, Cokie, possibly yes.

I have liked some of the things Trump has said.
This is NOT one of them.
Maybe Trump can employ and house some of them at Trump Towers.
There should be plenty of room for them in Mexico and Central America.
What U.S. policies? Getting rid of Saddam? At least Saddam kept the region somewhat stabilized.
He said possibly. He didn’t say yes we should let them all in. He was highlighting our own problems and has been a staunch supporter of Christians - maybe this was what he was referring to. Geez, people on here sure want to take him down. And, for who? Cruz? I just can’t picture Cruz as president.
So horrible on a humanitarian basis when you see that. Its like incredible whats going on. But, you know, we have so many problems. And the answer is possibly yes, Cokie, possibly yes. But we have so many problems of our own. We have border problems that are big league that I exposed. I think if I didnt expose them, I dont think youd be talking about them right now. I mean, its become a very big subject of debate. And its not so much debate. People now realize I was right when I made that initial statement, and by the way, took a lot of heat for about a two week period, until people realized what was going on. But we have our own problems. We have so many problems to solve. Our country is broken. Our we owe now you know Ive been saying 18 trillion, we now owe $19 trillion. Its going to go up very rapidly from this point forward. You know that 18 stayed there for a long time. But now if you look at the numbers and the balance sheets, its going to go up very rapidly. Were at $19 trillion. Theres only so much we can do. We have to fix our own country. Now, Europe is handling it. Germany has been very generous so far, which is very surprising to me, to be honest with you. But theres a huge problem, and we should help as much as possible, but we do have to fix our own country.
I can’t see that dead toddler washed up on the beach and not want to help in some way-— Maybe it is financial donations or some organization help— but something should be done. What is really needed is to clear out Syria and Iraq of Isis and then everyone won’t be leaving or if they did then it wouldn’t matter..
Trump fanbois won’t care. Most would converted to Islam if Trump did.
Trump is not going to win the nomination... and quite frankly, there will come a point where he steps to far over the waffly line even for you. When that day comes, I’m sure your opinion on my little Trump history reminders will be quite different.
Thank you onyx. Context matters, especially for true conservatives.
MMMMMM Mebst! We can let the Christian ones in. Muslims are incompatible with the West on every level & should not. The ones who are here should be removed either back to the ME or muslim Asia.
Is this the result of that ‘’agreement’’ he signed? We will burn our Trump t shirts before we even wear them.
Most of those people fleeing to Germany are NOT Syrian.
We didn’t cause it?? Alot of these ‘refugees’ are from Libya and Syria, countries we helped to save from ‘dictators’ by overthrowing/attempting to overthrow standing governments, worsening the chaos that was there . No, our hands are very ‘dirty’. We own a part of the problem.
We need to send Barkey and VarJar to Syria and not let them back until it’s fixed.
Should have drilled our own damn oil.
My pleasure!
God bless and keep you.
