There’s Only One Candidate People Actually Like – and It’s Not Trump or Clinton (it's Ben Carson)

The only one of the declared presidential candidates that Americans have positive feelings for overall isn’t a frontrunner and has never held public office before. According to a poll released Thursday by Public Policy Polling, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson is the sole presidential candidate whose favorability rating is higher than his or her unfavorability rating.

When asked about Carson, 41 percent of the respondents in the national poll reported that they felt favorably about him, compared to 30 percent who have an unfavorable view. That puts him well ahead of all the other candidates in the field, though 29 percent of respondents said they were not familiar enough with Carson to make a judgment about him, suggesting that those numbers could change as he becomes more widely known. The only other candidate to come close to an overall favorable rating was former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, who at 32/35 had an overall favorability rating of -3.

Carson is NOT op;en open book and nobody really knows much about him, other than what he wants them to know.....thus far.

We don't need a man we like. We need a man we probably don't like, but who shares our interests, and who can and will make life miserable for anyone who f's with those interests.

That interest is the Constitution, and Jedeo Christian culture. It's actually a very simple election.

Cruz will be able to be an MF once he's a proven quantity not just to us, but to the other 96% percent of the boneheaded electoriate. That's not for another 4 to 8 years.

Dr. Ben Carson is a wonderful person. But I don’t think Americans will elect another black President next election. Obama has everyone weary.

Carson is like-able and...so what! I want in Your Face Strong Leadership! I’m with Trump! He’s the only one stirring it up and making my complaints of the GOPe and this sorry mess we’re in today front and center! I like Cruz but without Trump stirring the pot and making brash bold statements, old Yeb would be leading and Cruz and Carson would be where Bush is NOW! It’s the way the GOPe and media have always done this! I hoping Trump goes the long haul and this will only benefit Cruz and leave the usual GOPe’s looking for the exit one by one! My hope anyway!

The difference is Trump is smart enough to put people he trusts and knows their stuff and will listen to what they say and not think he knows more about it than they do. That’s how you become a billionaire..by making a hell of a lot of people millionaires.

Carson is a smart, decent, moral man. I don’t think he has the administrative experience, but he certainly has the moral compass and foundation we need.

I’m ready and fully expecting to be pissed off from time to time by Trump after he does a Reagan landslide victory next year. As long as he’s building that wall and deporting millions on the new taco express bus back to Mexico!
