Since attention is being focused on whether Donald Trump will sign a loyalty pledge, what about Jeb Bush? Bush would never run a third party candidacy, but like many establishment Republicans, he might pay lip service to endorsing the nominee and then disappear from the scene. Or worse, he might furtively encourage his supporters to give money to Hillary.
Sounds far fetched? That's exactly what happened in Virginia when Ken Cuccinelli was nominated for governor by Republicans after beating a RINO for the nomination; in retaliation, establishment Republicans sat on their hands and even gave money and support to the Democratic nominee, Terry McAuliffe, who is now the governor of Virginia.
I think we need to question Bush closely on what level of support he will give to the Republican nominee. Will he host fundraisers for him? Will he go to Spanish areas and say, "Yo soy por Trump"? Of course, we don't know who the nominee will be yet, but since Bush is in single digits, I think this is much more of a probable eventuality to plan for then whether or not Trump will endorse or run against a different Republican nominee.
This is the whole problem with RINOs. They say they want a "big tent", which is really a code word for liberal views, but when it comes to supporting conservatives, suddenly their tent pole grows flaccid and everything collapses.
If Donald Trump or Ted Cruz is the nominee, can you imagine Jeb Bush campaigning for him? Will Scott Walker and Marco Rubio join him on the trail? Can you imagine Karl Rove raising money for him, or the Chamber of Commerce?
I have a sneaking suspicion that many of them would secretly support Hillary,

I think you’d first have to write that pledge out for him in Spanish.
Doubtful.
If Trump, or Cruz, or Carson were to be the nominee the POS would follow the example of Mitt the Twit, pick up his dolly and money and go home.
The problem with this Loyalty Pledge is the GOP is under no obligation to treat each primary candidate fairly. As far as I can tell, Reince Priebus can go around from now until the nominee is selected utterly trashing one candidate and singing the praises of another, and then expect ‘loyalty’ from the loser he trashed.
When are we going to get these people OUT of our party? Just who do they think they are anyway!
Have all of the other candidates SIGNED the loyalty pledge?
I doubt it. Just saying it doesn’t cut it.
ONLY if the nominee speaks espanol. What an assclown. He was okay as a gov but the heartland ain’t enthused at all with him. He made a statement the other day that “the more disruptive and chaotic things are, the more prosperous we are.” Or something close to that. WHAT?
Good question. I know the answer already. He will do what the GOP establishment did in NV when Sharron Angle ran against Harry Reid.
Jeb will support Mr. Trump just like he supported
Terri Schiavo. Nada.
someone needs to tweet this article to Trump asap.
Before extracting oaths from candidates, the GOP should sign a loyalty oath to its voting base and commit to achieving the conservative goals it presumably wants to accomplish, but never does.
The eventual GOP nominee would be much better off if Senor Yeb stays FAR away from him/her; support NOT wanted.
The REAL QUESTION::
Will our ‘Yeb’ support TRUMP?????
Here are the questions I have, that I can’t seem to find the answer(s) to....
1.) Is this *pledge* something the RNC candidates sign every year? Ever before?
2.) Will the RNC chairman and 2016 candidates (in ALL Republican races) pledge to support the majority in their base...on votes, legislation, etc?
Absolutely.
How can he do so after already signing a pledge to support the Democrat nominee?
How can he? Having signed the loyalty pledge with/to La Raza, as the MSM constantly tells US, they vote Democrat!

What will Jeb do will all that money when he flops out? Give it to Hillary?
Jeb's Candidate Act is to appear to be a lovable suck-up....amiable to a fault. But his bgrnd indicates otherwise:
<><> as Fla governor he transferred state pension funds to pave his way to a $1.3 million no-show job on Wall Street.
<><> Jeb took a high-pay job w/ a Hillary supporter who is in jail for bilking the US govt of millions.
Think he would endorse Cruz not Trump.
If one GOP candidate is asked to sign a loyalty pledge to back the eventual GOP nominee and to not run as a third party or independent then all Gop candidates should be asked to sign the same pledge.
