Came across this from the 1988 convention, and realized that Jeb and the Bushes were pushing the bilingual angle 27 years ago. You'd think they'd have learned by now that it's not what language you speak it's what you actually say, and as we all know, the Bushes are nowhere near conservative. In hindsight they were pandering to the Latino vote before anyone at a Republican convention knew what it meant to pander to the Latino vote. Glad Trump called him out on his campaigning in Spanish today.

It was HARD for her to do that, or it was hard for her to be a US citizen.....one of the two.

Gag me with a sombrero.
That exemplifies exactly what the problem is.
“My race first!”
“I don’t care what your nation’s language is, mine should be first.”
She and folks like her think the nation should melt into them, rather than them melting into the nation.
I’m not sorry to say this Jeb and Columba, but the United States is more important than your pet issues.

I thought it was kinda cool.
Jeb is such a disappointment. I had higher hopes for him.

Jeb has virtually turned his back on our exceptional American culture — for a woman who won’t bother to assimilate — proves that he is seriously coño batida and thus not fit for the office that he seeks.
