Evidence?

http://www.ontheissues.org/Senate/Ted_Cruz.htm

End Obama’s illegal amnesty via Congress’ checks & balances. (Nov 2014)
Defund amnesty; and refuse any nominees until rescinded. (Nov 2014)
No path to citizenship for 1.65 million illegals in Texas. (Oct 2012)
Give police more power to ask about immigration status. (Jun 2012)
Boots on the ground, plus a wall. (Apr 2012)
Triple the size of the Border Patrol. (Mar 2012)
Strengthen border security and increase enforcement. (Jul 2011)

http://www.ontheissues.org/International/Ted_Cruz_Immigration.htm (quotes, with some context)

Cruz is good enough for me on Amnesty, and the same is true for gun rights and health care - also at http://www.ontheissues.org/Senate/Ted_Cruz.htm

In a sane world and nation Cruz is the guy. Look how many leftist drecks and drones we have in America. Can Cruz pull in as many crossover winning margin votes as Trump? Highly doubtful. Trump is not a rock solid conservative but he isn’t a traitor, criminal or incompetent boob plus he’s far better than any DemRat leftist hack they have in their lineup.

Cruz and Walker or Rubio is not going to happen. Rubio is still an amnesty shill. Walker has had three positions on ethanol, three positions on birthright citizenship, at least five on illegal immigration, and now thinks we need a wall between us and Canada. NO THANKS!

the VP position is the line to the white house. it puts cruz in position to be president, which is what we need, after trump comes in and kicks ass and cleans house. then cruz comes in and finishes righting the ship after trump throws the pirates overboard.

I agree and support... BUT watch out... The GOPe / RNC RINOS and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce - THE CABAL has announced a large scale - if not massive Ad Campaign after Labor Day to SMASH TRUMP...

THE CABAL can be effective ... giving Trump far too many flies to swat... So Trump and Trump Cruz Supporters should be ready to help fight back... As THE CABAL will send MORE SHILLS to places like FR and Facebook to put up phony opposition to TRUMP as they are already doing now... Just Be AWARE — Don’t argue with the SHILLs just call them out

If you give him the contract for the wall, he will put a big, beautiful door in it.

Yeah... There's your problem right there.

No thanks.

Trump is wildly popular at the moment mostly because he is saying what a lot of people want to hear. I believe, however, it might behoove us to be a bit wary and not blindly follow the Pied Piper.

I admit I like much of what Trump espouses but something about him makes me uneasy and cautious, perhaps overly so. I see him as extremely intelligent, unlike the idiot we have now, he’s forceful and successful with great business and organizational skills. But I see him also as pushy, arrogant, thin-skinned, selfish and perhaps a little childish and untactful in his dealings with others. Maybe these are traits we need in a president now, but he also needs the ability to be diplomatic when necessary.

I see him as doggedly persistent when he wants to push his agenda, which may be a good thing, but also it could mean that if he feels seriously threatened he might have the propensity to “take his ball and go home”. This could be disastrous if he should see he is not likely to get the nomination. If he gets in a childish snit and decides to do the third party thing, it would probably guarantee der Hildebeeste or Slow Joe will the the next resident of the White House.

Trump deserves some close consideration, but he also deserves some CAREFUL consideration.

Fair post!

I too would be concerned if Trump went 3d party.

The aforementioned Trans Nationals are desperate to take Trump out of the race for the Presidency.

Their field of battle is far larger than just Congress...The people that set policy belong to think tanks and other groups, ie, the Council on Foreign Relations, Bilderbergers, etc...

The interesting thing about these groups is that they don't change people from one Presidential administration to another...Obama's advisers are the same advisers that Bush had...The policies and goals don't change...And there are thousands of those people roaming the halls of Congress...

The FBI, CIA and all the other alphabet agencies...I can't imagine those groups allowing Trump or Cruz to get anywhere near the Whitehouse...It's going to be interesting...

This could be a very strong ticket but so could Cruz-Carson, or Rubio-Cruz, or Rubio-Walker.

Strong for the Washington Cartel...That's about it...
