It’s August of 2015, and you’re probably sweating your behind off. Christmas isn’t coming for another four months, and a Donald Trump presidency isn’t coming until January of 2017.

I’m not anti-Christmas, far from it, but it’s transparently being a phony politician to bring this up in August, especially if what what he is saying is not true. Unlike Trump, I was pro-Christmas all my life. I didn’t just discover it to make a crowd cheer. And I’ll still be pro-Christmas nest year, when Trump will probably be talking about how Christians taunt Muslims again/.
I’d vote for that ticket...also Trump/Palin or Trump/West.
More proof than anything that would indicate you do more than poop on things rather than take any positive actions.
Any proof that he hasn't? Any proof that he doesn't believe and mean anything he's been saying? Any proof that you donate to a candidate or to FR? Any proof that you "stand for the constitution and conservatism" as you once told me?

I was at the Young Turks site a week or so ago.
Their reactions ranged from:
scoffing at Trump mixed with forlorn bleats for Bernie to save them,
to worried acknowledgements that Trump might actually have a chance of winning,
to unconcealed admiration and identification with Trump.

Trump will win in large part due to a massive Democrat crossover vote for him.
I agree. I expect Trump will carry NY, NJ, CT, and PA. That switch alone would make a D victory in 2016 a near impossibility. Cruz on the ticket will keep the red states solidly red while Trump's crossover appeal will see supposedly "safe" blue states in play all over the place.

And the clerks in the stores usually repeat it back to us.

No, I doubt Luntz said that or something like that. But what he does do is poll people, SUPPOSEDLY impartially, to see what should work for Republicans. And his ‘results’ were clear as day. If the Republican rush in, head-first, to Amnesty, they will a higher percentage of Hispanic votes than if they don’t. In other words, up to a million more Hispanics will vote Republican due to it.
The Republicans candidates and office holders, most of them being TOTAL IDIOTS, eat that up and spend all their time trying to figure out a way to get Amnesty through, while convincing the base that it’s not Amnesty...and so far, thankfully, that hasn’t happened.
As to the Republican (Christian) base, Luntz simply tells the candidates that they will vote Republican anyway, because they have no other choice - and they believe him. As for the fact that something like 5 Republicans will stay home for every Hispanic vote they get from pandering...he doesn’t tell them that. Nor does he tell them that once Amnesty is passed, these people will quickly be naturalized and vote Democrat, thereby reducing the party to rubble (which could be what he wants, see below).
As to the base SCREAMING at the top of their lungs that they don’t want Amnesty, Luntz simply tells them it’s a small number of people being egged on by talk radio and manipulating the system through social media, etc. The REAL REPUBLICANS are much more reasonable and accommodating to those that are hear illegally. That’s why we’re ignored...they trust Luntz and people like him MUCH MORE than their own phone calls.
As to why Luntz is doing this - one reason for certain: The big-money donors DEMAND cheap labor, meaning Open Borders and Amnesty, and they simply do not give a shit about the future of the country...and it is the Big Money that ultimately pays Luntz’s salary. The second reason may or may not apply to him, but a lot of Republican male ‘strategists’ have turned out being gay. No idea here and it’s not possible to find anything about his personal life on the web (although it is typically possible that information for most people at his level). I do not have a problem with gay strategists, but they should be open about it and they should be used where it helps candidates understand their base (maybe in some limited outreach), rather than driving their own personal agendas (as seen from other strategists that have come out of the closet). Again, I’m not saying this about Luntz, I just don’t know either way, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that were the case.
