I was thinking last night, that Trump’s popularity could reach a point that he would then have the power to help other candidates get elected. THIS COULD BE OUR BEST CHANCE TO GET TOTAL CONTROL OF HOUSE AND SENATE.
Running with Ted Cruz could really solidify things. Then announcing that there’s going to be a place for others.
Ben Carson Surgeon General? SOS?
Sarah Palin Dept of Interior?

That’s possible and he probably could help a few along if he maintains his popularity.
But the one place were I think he could do an awful lot of good is in anti-advocacy - for the likes of Boehner, Graham, and McCain for starters, IIRC they’re ALL up for re-election in 2016 (Boehner every two years of course). Any votes he could muster against these three would be like cutting the head off the GOP leadership snake. There probably are more, but these are a damn good start. McConnell would have another 4 years to go in 2016, so only a President Trump (I am for Cruz BTW) could do anything to him then.
