Funny how with other topics we hold people individually accountable for their own actins but this latest twist with the police getting to blame every problem on Ferguson we let slide.
No, officers, we don’t want you willy-nilly killing people who flip you off or just try to run away from you.
No, you don’t get to use that as an excuse when some donut-muncher can’t stand up to a physically fit criminal.
If you can’t handle yourself without resorting to deadly force every time you simply meet someone stronger than yourself then you need a different career and your department needs to hire someone who can handle themselves.
There is no way we should be handing out a license to kill for cops who are always ‘in fear for their lives’ because they’re too small, fat, cowardly, or weak to do the job.

I agree! The worst of them should get 23 hours a day in a cell and one hour a day in a cage.
And NONE of them should have access to work out equipment. Let them come out of prison pale and atrophied.
And all this merely furthers the historical training of thugs and wannabe thugs that the likelihood of arrest factored by the probably of indictment if arrested factored by a finding of guilty if indicted factored by actual consequences if found guilty is so extremely small that enforcement has lost any deterrent effect. It starts at the top. Failure to enforce federal law makes a mockery of all laws. Immigration law, front and center.

The irony of your comment is that the exact last time I heard that said to me it came from a Sacramento County Deputy Sheriff when I told him he needed a warrant as he literally broke down my mother’s apartment door.
Now I live in Wyoming and the wonderful Park County Sheriff’s Department have shown me what it means to have people who enforce the law and who also protect the Constitution.
