And though hard work finally got a Judge position that he no longer deserves...

Hard work, or affirmative action and political reliability?

““Carlton Reeves is the judge. You know, I hope his wife feeds him lots of eggs and butter and he dies early like many black men do, of heart disease. Well, that’s how I feel. He is an absolutely reprehensible person.””

Yeah, when I pray, I pray that people who try to bring down our country are “called home” sooner rather than later. I mean, if you are going to pray for something, make it count! Right now Hillary and Bill are getting top priority in my prayers. I’ve been able to take Jimmah Cahta off recently. The old Commie Bastard won’t be with us much longer.

No way to know, he’s young enough to be an affirmative action candidate.

Would love it if Judge Reeves grabbed the microphone and bellowed at the crowd,

“YOU’RE ALL UNDER ARREST!! DON’T NOBODY MOVE!!!”

What a jerk.

And what they did — would become known as the musical shot heard around the world.

During halftime of Friday night’s game – a lone voice began to sing the forbidden song.

“Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee,” the singer sang.

Brittany Mann was there and she witnessed the entire moment of defiance.

“We were just sitting there and then one by one people started to stand,” she told me. “At first, it started out as a hum but the sound got louder and louder.”

She said it was a “truly incredible” moment to watch hundreds of people singing together in the stadium.

We are fighting back... Thank God for these brave citizens... we ARE fighting back..

“Defendants are permanently enjoined from including prayer, religious sermons or activities in any school sponsored event including but not limited to assemblies, graduations, award ceremonies, athletic events and any other school event,” the order reads.

Not sure how such an overly broad and punitive order can hold up under appellate review.

In 2013 a student sued the district over a series of Christian meetings that had been held on school property, the newspaper reported. The district later settled the lawsuit and acknowledged they had violated the student’s First Amendment rights.

And here is the root of the problem...the school refused to fight and then settled, admitting culpability when there was none, opening the floodgate for the further ruling on this.

God Bless those people who refused to be silenced. We have gone so far down a dark path.

I remember attending a beautiful Baccalaureate service the Sunday before my high school graduation. Attendance was not required, but most everyone showed up. Of course this was in the early 70's, but I attended a public high school in California!

In today's world, any kind of religious themed event in the public school system is not even considered. It's like how so many are too intimidated to say "Merry Christmas" Incredibly sad.

The Great Unwashed defying a federal judge, an Obama appointee? Totally unacceptable. Arrest everyone who was in that stadium.

Todd Starnes, in his Fox write up, said he’d gladly pay the fine for this school. No no no.
This was an awesome act of defiance, and while I applaud Starnes’ good intentions in offering to pay the fine, it MUST NOT be paid. It must be met with even more determined defiance, by whatever means necessary.
We need to wake up and realize what’s happening here.
We are being jihad-ed
We’re being subjected to creeping Shariah, subtly and incrementally, at the same time the Constitution is being phased out.
Under Shariah law, non-Muslims are given three choices :
1. Convert
2. Pay a TAX or FINE for being allowed to live (while practicing your faith
verrrrry quietly) BTW, the fines are designated to be used for continuing
jihad. Interesting—you pay them to destroy you.
3. Die

1 is how Muslims gain control. 1 and 2 start increasing as Muslims increase in the population. 2 and 3 dominate at the point of no return, when they are in the majority.
We need to understand that Islam is by its nature incompatible with the First Amendment , both clauses pertaining to Freedom of Religion.
Shariah requires the ESTABLISMENT of a state religion.
Shariah PROHIBITS the free expression of other, non-Muslim faiths.

We cannot surrender; we must refuse to pay penalties to the state for freely expressing our faith in public. The Constitution expressly forbids the. Problem is, too few Americans even know anymore what the First Amendment says, and they roll over every time some tyrant misrepresents the Establishment clause, and ignores the Prohibition clause altogether.
It’s our job as FReepers to edumucate people at every opportunity about exactly what the First says, and what it means in a society that is truly tolerant.

BTW Judge Reeves —Obama appointee—is the same judge who overturned Mississippi’s ban on gay marriage.
His Wikipedia page reveals no religious preference. I think beliefs are far more significant than race.
I wonder if he is a Muslim?
If so, it would explain his anti-Christan rulings which seem to me me even more hostile than the average atheist rantings.
Even the atheists pay some—not much— lip service to students’ or individuals’ rights to initiate voluntary faith activities on campuses.
This Reeves guy is ordering NO religious (Christian) activitities whatsoever. No way, no how, or pay a fine.
That smacks of Shariah, right there.
I hope Todd Starnes writes about this aspect of the assault on Christianity—and America, from the jihadists in our midst.

They always don’t notice the second part of this....

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”

Simple stuff. If you can have a secular club, you can have a Christian club. If the band plays secular music they can play religious music. Nothing in the US Constitution says otherwise.
