BREAKING: Trump Likely to be BANNED from Future Republican Debates
Political INsider ^ | 21 AUG 2015 | TPIWriter

This report should make Donald Trump supporters angry! While taxpayers are often funding political debates, the Republican Party has the ultimate say over its own events. And while the GOP is supposed to stand for the principles of the Founding Fathers, it can be manipulated by the political establishment which can’t stand Trump’s conservative views.

The real reason why the GOP is focusing on Trump’s threat to run as a 3rd party candidate is it would give them grounds to boot him from future debates. The Republican Party, to protect its interests, is probably willing to boot the front-runner candidate. And they have savvy enough operatives, such as Karl Rove, who are ready to do it…

Trump should hold competing events like the informational candidate meetings Steve King sponsored during the 2012 election cycle involving discussions on various ideas and topics of interest to conservatives. Trump could invite people like Cruz and Carson and maybe even some non candidates who happen to be knowledgeable on various topics. Such as the kind of people he would be recruiting for his cabinet.

That would be far more informative than the snarkfest of the RNC debates that the networks hold and it would probably get higher ratings.

Has anyone ever accused Rove of being a conservative?

If he’s banned he will gain another 5 points in the polls.

The GOPe and the RINO elite are HOPELESSLY LOST. They are befuddled and do not know what to do. ALL their playbooks no longer deliver. Their world is falling apart and they do not know their place in the new political order developing in America. Let them thrash about and destroy themselves...we won’t miss them.

The RNC, willing to go postal on Republicans and eat their own, but gutless and unwilling to stand up to Democrats. What the heck is wrong with them? Boehner cries and makes nice to Obama and Dems, but savages other Republicans. This is why I stopped donating to the RNC.

They cut Trump out, I'm gone and so are millions of other Republicans who will switch parties. If they ban Trump, the RNC cuts their own throat.

Can there be any doubt that the DC Cartel is aligned with the Global Cartels. From gun running to drug running to people running to nuclear weapon running. We have the biggest set of crooks running the nation and its two fake polotical parties in our history.

You have to ask yourself what the heck they are smoking. Trump has the support of their BASE fer God’s sake. Of course, they have always hated their base but the GOP would literally be committing suicide. And accusing Trump of being a Perot to put a Clinton in the White House don’t work. Trump is polling 25% of the GOP. If he draws just 20% of non GOP base voters from disaffected Democrats he is President Trump. Jeb and Hillary would be crushed by a Third Party Trump. No, this time the GOPelite can hold their nose while voting. After Dole, McCain, and Romney our noses have had enough.

If Trump is forced to run 3rd party he will absolutely destroy the GOPee.

He will run hard hitting ads non-stop that equate the GOPee with the Democrat party.... and people watching will nod their heads in agreement.

It would be a bloodbath... it would absolutely mean the end of the Republican party.

The American people will weigh the GOP and Trump and will drop the GOP and join Trump.

Then Trump goes 3rd party and we get HRC as POTUS?

Is the GOP really that stupid?

If they try to ban Trump, he should take the GOP to court.

I don’t buy this at all. They can’t be that stupid.

If they are, they deserve to lose.
Again.

I’m supporting Cruz, but I’m starting to think Trump may be the last hope for America as we cannot sustain 20 Trillion in debt and 20 Billion Illegals, if not more.

I may start drinking the Trump Kool-aid again.

Trump can host a freeper debate. Go live on youtube and take questions off a thread in the forum.

I would have doubts that they are that stupid. If it does occur....probably half of the people who would have voted in the primary season....will just stay home or cross the aisle to vote in the Democrat primary (maybe even for Hillary to make things interesting).

Long-term damage would be a total split in the party and marginal ways for any Republican to win for any major office (President, Senator, House Member or Governor) for at least a decade.

It’s the national party’s own fault that they became so entangled in special interest groups and lobbyists....become the Fairfax Party instead of the Republican Party and just representing a 30 by 30 mile area of Virginia.

I think Hillary might come in third in that contest. She might not have anyone but the hardcore progressives backing her by next year.

Trump can get the Chinese to reduce our debt obligation by giving 24 states to them. That seems to be how he handled his casino bankruptcies.

They didn’t even represent Virginia well judging by Eric Cantor’s booting.

If you fully understand that they would rather let the democrats win than allow someone not completely under their control to win, you can see how easy it would be for them to imagine they could pull this off.

This whole story takes us right back to FOX doing the bidding of the RNC/Estab/K Street crowd with that first question to Donald.

The RNC had to get it on the record from Donald to decide how to proceed with him, and he delivered. Walking it back since hasn’t changed their mood, given they don’t like his message and they are at risk of losing their own jobs if they get anywhere near him.

What are these debates becoming anyway but to whip up ratings and hear the best barbs thrown in an hour? I’m not sure this would be a great loss to Trump, when he can hold his own anything. All he needs is a camera. lol.

The RNC cannot control who participates in debates, per FEC.

Trump should announce he will hold an online streaming reply to any televised debate. He will answer the questions in real time and he will offer comment and ridicule the moderators who choose to ask idiotic questions.

True, they had Columba measuring the curtains in the Oval Office by now, and they are befuddled. I guarantee you - if they do this - they are committing political suicide.
