President Carter,
I’m truly sorry you are having such terrible health challenges at the end of your life. I have watched my husband die from melanoma and my uncle die from liver cancer. It’s certainly no walk in the park. I thought it was brave of you to call a press conference today and speak boldly and honestly about your condition and prognosis. You handled yourself so well in discussing the things that are likely going to be ending your life. Compassion toward you and your family for the road ahead filled my heart. And then came the following exchange:
Reporter: In the time that you have left, what would give you the most satisfaction to see something happen? Peace in the Middle East? The eradication of polio? ….
You: In international affairs I’d say peace for Israel and its neighbors. It’s been a top priority of my foreign policy projects for the past 30 years. Right now I think the prospects are more dismal than anytime I remember in the last 50 years. In fact, the whole process is practically dormant. The government of Israel has no desire for a two-state solution which is the policy of all the other nations in the world. And the United States has practically no influence compared to past years in either Israel or Palestine. So, I feel very discouraged about it.
I must ask, Mr. President, why you are willing to function as the devil’s puppet when you know you will be meeting your Maker very soon? Why must you take the low road when the high road would be a much nobler way to exit this world? You claim to be a Christian yet you have no discernment about the Word of God.
God has warned:
The LORD told Abram, “You are to leave your land, your relatives, and your father’s house and go to the land that I’m going to show you. I’ll make a great nation of your descendants, I’ll bless you, and I’ll make your reputation great, so that you will be a blessing. Did you not know you were fulfilling Bible prophecy when you joined satan’s alliance against the sovereign land of Israel? We as Americans all pay the price when you and other US leaders turn your backs on the nation of Israel.
Time is short for you. Repent and publicly retract your remarks for the good of all. If you will not, may God have mercy on your soul.
I believe in Mark Levin’s two state solution. Divide America into two states; one for conservatives and one for libs. I wouldn’t care which side goes to conservatives as long as libs stay the hell out and are only free to run and ruin their own half.

I thought OBAMACARE was supposed to put an END to These Wasteful Treatments for people so Old that it won’t improve their quality of life and are ready to die anyway.
A two state solution is a destructive move towards Israel and everyone knows it.

Well, on his death bed he can at least draw some solace from the fact that finally Americans managed to elect someone that has actually been worse than he was .

I was astonished at this remark too! I thought, “Dude, you’re dreaming.” Then it occurred to me how embarrassing it must have been for him to live with that humiliation for all these years. He had to cringe every time someone brought it up. It was just a feeble attempt to save face. But you’re right. At least he’s gotten to live long enough to see someone displace him as the worst president ever.
If his announcement makes more people conscious of the risks of melanoma, then it is a good thing. My father also died of metastatic melanoma which developed in his brain. So anything publicizing the risks of this form of cancer is a good thing. I’m glad Mr. Carter has held his press conference and I wish him well, although, at his age, the prognosis is not very positive.

I’m not worried about it, but I am brokenhearted for the nation of Israel. How must it feel to be a tiny little nation and have the whole world turn against you, knowing full well that a high percentage of your neighbors want you to disappear from the earth? And then at the close of his life, a former president leaves that sentiment on the table? I’m not worried. I’m angry!
Here’s what I do know. God will have the last word in this. He already has, actually, but no one cares to pay heed to His prophecies. Therefore, there will be much unnecessary suffering.
A logical fallacy in an appeal to authority– not that Israel gives a damn what 'the rest of the world (read: its enemies)' think.

Jimmy has been ‘on the wrong side of history’ for many many years. His bitterness has corrupted his thinking and as a result, he has damaged everything he has touched.
I hope he gets right with God before he leaves this earth, he has much to answer for if he doesn’t.
I remember my HS graduation. You know who spoke there? One of the Iranian hostages! We were a laughing stock then. Screw this guy. He said the cancer was a very small, that should cover it.
