“Rather than fall in the polls after the debate ended, as so many expected, Trump continued to climb. It has been like this all summer. “
That’s a quote from the article.
It’s fantastic, actually.

Trump is every thing I hate in a politician. Northeastern born & bred, Ivy League educated, big mouthed and a braggart.
But, up until a couple of months ago he was not a politician. He was and is a pretty damned successful business man.
different? No! I still do not like him. But I am not voting for a drinking buddy, I am voting for someone who will at least make an attempt to fix that criminal that is our government and he is the only one that will even make that attempt. SO, Yes I will vote for Trump. In the primary and the general. As the Republican nominee or as a third party candidate or as a write in.

I love the part in the second video down, where the pajama boy reporter asks Trump about “undocumented immigrats”. Trump stops him and says “we are talking about illegals here, right? People here illegally? You know the word illegal, right?”
Reporter looks down, “Uh yeah, illegal immigrants”.
Priceless!

A conservative middle class crushed by economic change and unsettled by demographic transformation has reached the point where a condo promoter conveys more credibility than the partys most accomplished governors. It's not demographic transformation that is unsettling. The Republic has withstood demographic transformations in the past and will in the future.
It is the willful failure on the part of FedGov and the political elites to protect the Republic's borders and to enforce its most fundamental immigration laws.

He always thought that President Jimmy Carter had it wrong back in the 1970s, when he would walk off Air Force One carrying his own suit bag in a show of solidarity with regular folk. They dont want that, Trump continues. They want someone whos going to beat China, beat Japan.

Supposedly, Trump supporters are low information voters and when things turn serious in the fall the story will change. Yet these low information voters are having discussions on the original meaning of the 14th Amendment and the elites have no clue.....

When someone asked Clinton if she had noticed Trump circling overhead, she claimed ignorance. I was just looking at the people, she said.Yeah, Hillary. That sure proves your one of us.

Good cover photo, which probably matters as much as anything, and then a snearing, biased piece by a reporter who used to work for Mother Jones and salon.com.

On the plus side, I saw this yesterday. Warmed my heart.
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Billionaire Donald Trump, America's toughest employer, would like to fire the Bush Administration for its decision to invade Iraq, according to an interview in the August edition “Esquire,” due to be released on Friday. “Look at the war in Iraq and the mess that we're in. I would never have handled it that way. Does anybody really believe that Iraq is going to be a wonderful democracy where people are going to run down to the voting box and gently put in their ballot and the winner is happily going to step up to lead the country?,” said the host of NBC’s “The Apprentice,” whose hallmark line is “You're fired.”
