CNN)Donald Trump appeared to contradict his own immigration policy proposal Tuesday, just two days after releasing a detailed outline of his plans.
Trump said he wants foreigners who study at American universities to be able to stay in the U.S., but his immigration plan released Sunday would make it more difficult for foreigners to obtain certain visas and green cards that would allow them to remain and work in the U.S. legally.

"If I were you, I would be more bothered by the ONE MILLION new legal immigrants admitted every year, many cant speak English, many are too old to change their culture, many are not educated so depend on government welfare."
It took southern and eastern Europeans over 100 years to have too much influence in our government.
"And those above are 100 times greater in numbers than the best and brightest with advanced degrees in STEM."
We don't need them ruling an Islamist regime over us any more than we need the developing Soviet Balkan Germanistan that we're seeing.

"Americans have rights, the option to work for another employer, and cant be as easily forced into abusive relationships, and that makes us less desirable."
Many of us have only given to our country and received nothing but abuse in return. That's because we were taught early American morality (see English Civil War, American Revolution), which is abused by fascist foreign bosses not far removed enough from their cultures.
But now, those newly influential in politics are pushing to make sure that everyone working will work for the government. We'll see how that works out, while we true builders, makers, our children and grandchildren will be polishing and improving our skills and watching.

Trump doubled down on his on Fox News. I gather you are on the GopE bandwagon. Good luck when Rush, Palin and Coulter are jazzed up for Trump’s candidacy. Cruz even says he is good the party.

You buy the liberal media lies. It's all just to get more immigrants into the USA which are destroying the USA.
Immigrants vote for democrats and for socialism. So there is massive pro-immigrant propaganda from the media. It's all lies
Many Americans have had to train their foreign Indian H-1B replacement.
There are 1.5 million smart phone apps. So there's no engineers for silicon valley? don't make me laugh:

Many more reasons .

Funny "not a consultant"....
The Bible was written by a lot of people over a long period of time and does not contradict itself, but that doesn't stop folks from cherry-picking and taking parts out of context to try to 'prove" that it does contradict itself.

I can understand Silicon Valley NEEDS engineers our kids are graduating with degrees in some sort of social science or basket weaving our kids are so far down in math and sciences it has become pathetic!!!!!!!
Agreed. Quicken loans founder Dan Gilbert has said he has trouble finding qualified employees here in Michigan where our colleges should produce exactly the kind of students who should be ideal but is finding that they aren't prepared for the workplace. He says that colleges are too busy socializing the students rather than teaching them. He's a pretty liberal guy who makes a "fun" workplace but didn't become a billionaire by playing video games.
My biggest problem with Trump on this is the way he is treated like a messiah for saying the same thing others are attacked for. Many of the same FReepers who are fawning over Trump go rabid over Ted Cruz wanting to increase H1-b visa holders under essentially the same conditions but Cruz doesn't suggest making them citizens.
The fact is, all that Trump is proposing is a huge mishmash of things that have been proposed by many others over the last 30 years. There isn't much in it that I disagree with, its just DOA in Washington.
Its better to propose securing the border and enforcing current laws to stop the bleeding before attempting to cure the disease. Things like birthright citizenship are only an issue because the bleeding has been allowed to continue unabated.

You two snobs might want to Oh I know what I want to do. But a chickenbit Romneyite like you wouldn't show up.
lol
Go Cruz!

I believe the real reason everyone is fawning over Trump is NOT due to his policies, I think most folks are feeling the same way I am, it is NOT about Trump, it is about PAYBACK it is about Trump having his own money and the bastard GOP-E not being able to do a damn thing about Trump running and VERY POSSIBLY winning the GOP ticket!!! It is about ALL of their bastard heads exploding and we can stand on the sidelines and watch!!!! I believe EVERYONE on this site would LOVE for Cruz to be our nominee but we ALL know the GOP-E will destroy him just as they did to Sarah they would cut the money from Cruz in a heartbeat they have made him an outcast in the senate I WANT PAYBACK and that is why I am ALL in for Trump!!!!!

Ooooh what a tough guy. Knows the F-word and everything.
Do you keep this up constantly, or do you fade in the second and third appearance, like your hero Mitt?
Chickenmitt Artcore lol!
WTF Artcore anyway? Is that kinda like softcore? Do you drop your magic undapants and surf on the internets for pitchers by Andy Warhol?

Interesting what you thought my screen name might mean. Perhaps Free Republic isn’t the only website you visit on regular basis. The fact that you could conjure up the thought of “Andy Warhol” and “magic underpants” is more an indictment of your warped mind than anything to do with me.
Thanks for the revealing look into your warped little mind.

What are you so mad about anyway, Artie?
Someone disagrees with you SLIGHTLY on the matter of Trump and you charge in with your slurs and curses.
Take it easy. Most of us here are on the same page. You are comMITTed (sorry couldn’t help it lol) to Trump while I see Cruz as the stronger conservative.
At some point we will have to work together to have a chance to vote for either.
