A lot is happening at a very rapid rate. And with all the discussion thats been going on, Ive been kind of eager to get to you, and maybe help to give you a perspective. And I know that there have been comments made from this pulpitexceptionally helpful, clear, well-chosen comments on the issues that face our country today. But I need to just kind of add some of my own insights and perceptions, and then direct you to a particular portion of Scripture.
This country talks a lot about terrorist attacksand rightly so. Almost anybody in America can give you some kind of a listing of the most destructive acts of terror that have happened in our country. But let me suggest to you this: The two greatest attacks of terror on America were perpetrated by the Supreme Court. Not by any Muslim, but by the Supreme Court of the United States. The first one was the legalizing of abortion. Subsequent to that, there have been millions of babies slaughtered in the wombs of their mothers. Its incalculable to even comprehend that. The blood of those lives cries out from the ground for divine vengeance on this nation.
The second great act of terror perpetrated by the Supreme Court was the legalization of same-sex marriage. The destruction of human life in the wombin a sense, the destruction of motherhoodand now the destruction of the family itself. No bomb, no explosion, no attack, and no assault on people physically can come anywhere near that kind of terrorism. Our country is being terrorized by the people most responsible to protect itthose who are to uphold the law.
Just a few comments beyond that. No human court has the authority to redefine morality. But this human court has said murder is not murder; and marriage is not marriage; and family is not family. They have usurped the authority that belongs only to God...

You got that right!

The biblical quote has been completely taken out of context.
Achan had taken things God had forbidden.
Josh 7
11 Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff.
12 Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed: neither will I be with you any more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you.
...
20 And Achan answered Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the LORD God of Israel, and thus and thus have I done:
21 When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it.

The White House was lit in rainbow colors—the homosexual rainbow itself a mockery of God’s grace shown in the Old Testament after the Flood.
What clearer sign is there that Satan now is directly in control of this nation?
Jim, thank you for posting this and pinging me to it.
G-D has provided us with a moral compass. Unfortunately, our nation’s leaders have broken theirs, and greatly distorted our country’s moral compass.
We must try to elect leaders that will correct our national moral compass to once again point to G-D and the following of His laws and commandments.
Whatever the outcome, each of us should spread the Gospel as best we can, and understand that the ‘end times’ may already be underway.
May G-d bless and have mercy on us all, in Yeshua’s name, Amen.
Therefore, this taunt of those in favor of homosexual marriage:
Contrast the individual’s situation where he coveted something God had cursed, versus the church - which is an organization of sorts.
You’re *really* stretching this...!
God had commanded them not to touch any of the cursed things in Jericho.
This is completely out of context: there is no such direct command that was so specific as in the case of Jericho.
Find another verse.
Yuck!
I don’t care if you’re making fun of them: it’s not wholesome, good, pure, lovely, nor is it of good report, nor is there any virtue or any praise in these images.
Ephesians 5
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
Mockery is a form of reproof: and it shatters their *fabulous* image in the eyes of bystanders.
Which scripture do these images reference?
This is how I have felt for a very long time: 58,000,000 little tots’ lives snuffed out for no particularly good reason - certainly insufficient to justify this violence - and the small numbers involved in these other attacks, themselves absolutely horrific in scope, simply pales.
Did you overlook verse 12?
All the text was mockery.
