Grassroots conservatives expressed disgust toward GOP establishment, consulting class operative Rick Wilson for his remark that Americans who support Donald Trump are low information supporters.
Conservative radio callers swamped the phone lines of Breitbart News Saturday, hosted by Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon. They also expressed disdain for Willsons snobbish arrogance and insults cast toward the conservative base throughout his CNN appearance on Friday with Breitbarts Editor-in-Chief Alexander Marlow.
During the CNN broadcast OutFront with host Kate Bolduan, Wilson admitted that he yearns for Jeb Bush to start posting up and to stop trying to draft behind Donald Trump and hope that he collapses and his low-information supporters run into your arms.
Moreover, Wilson went into full attack mode against Breitbart News, throwing interference for establishment Republicans by smearing the website, comparing it to Russian propaganda news outlet Pravda.
The angry Wilson appeared out of control and kept repeating himself: I get that you guys are all inI get that Alex. I get that you guys are all in on Trump. Alex, I get it. I get that you guys are all in on Trump. I get it. I understand thatI understand that.

The snarks stole Rush Limbaugh’s term that they had no use for until now when the jerks think it is cool to apply it to conservative. Boy, what bunch of egotistical jerks. They really need to be brought down.

The GOP elite should be deported to Mexico without their money. Let them live off their tax evading offshore accounts.

‘I guess the big tent GOPe isnt all that big tent when it comes to the base of the party.’
That is tagline-quality. If I hadn’t already had one, I would now.

I wonder if Trump followers are actually libertarians or independents who are registered as republicans. I'm wondering how many social Christian conservatives are following Trump. Many prolife and traditional marriage Christians seem not to trust trump. I'd like to see these numbers broke down. Cafeteria Catholics/Christians following trump?

GOP establishment, consulting class operative Rick Wilson may or may not be a "Low Information Liberal", but that is one dumb a**ed remark to make.
GOPe stuck on stupid.

took me over 10 minutes to watch that video on Breitbart due to all the ads on there slowing down the site. Why must they do that?

I guess the big tent GOPe isnt all that big tent when it comes to the base of the party.Oh, it's a big tent all right, but the GOP-e doesn't want the base to actually be inside after they help to set it up. Rick Wilson, George Will, etc, etc, are once again telling the "rubes" to get out, albeit a bit less politely than in the past.

And yet Fox is still spinning it like they had a great debate due to 24 million people watching it. I don't even know if Fox has addressed on air about the backlash they have received on social media?
Do you think Wilson will at some time grovel to The Donald and ask HIM for a job, once we see Trump winning the Republican primary?

Hey Rick!
It is precisely the opposite.
It is the unfocused, too busy to think, voter who supports the establishment.
Have you noticed the clarity and consistency of Cruz vs. the vacillation and backtracking of Jeb?

I do not need Brooks to ridicule and insult the intelligence of Trump fans. There are plenty right here that have nothing else going on in their lives, but to sit on their, you know what, and preen their superiority. Haughty, surly types... Who can find them attractive, or even able to discern a winning candidate....
Especially the late comers professing their conservatism... Yea, I have read posted on thread after thread, Trump is a democrat and a liberal. Well he is not liberal to the core, he is spending his own money. And he sure does appear to be having fun spending it.

Grassroots conservatives expressed disgust toward GOP establishment, consulting class operative Rick Wilson for his remark that Americans who support Donald Trump are low information supporters.
David Brooks peddled the same line, adding that low information voters don't turn out.
They turn out well enough to move elections. EVERY candidate has "low information" supporters. Any candidate with Trump's name recognition will have a fair amount as well.
But one thing, Low Information Voters are not necessarily low TRUMP information voters. The names BUSH and TRUMP come with a back story that even non-newsies can pick up on. Folks prefer the Trump name. Trump has been a household word for three decades now. He tries his hand at everything and fails as often as he succeeds (Trump U, Trump Air, Trump Vodka). People know about those, and are willing to support him anyway. He is not really a mystery.
These consultants have NO idea what they can do about Trump. They CANNOT define him. He is macaca proof.
That said, I don't trust him, and will back Cruz, but trust is a subjective thing, and I won't hold someone else's trust of Trump against him.

They’ll also have to take out Cruz, too. I’ll bet that Mr. Trump has his own security force in place
