Not so long ago, Hillary Clintons supporters main concern seemed to be a fear that her coronation as the Democratic candidate for president would leave her unprepared for battle with the Republican nominee.
Now, by all metrics, the former secretary of state retains a historically strong lead in the race to secure her partys nomination. She is well ahead of the other declared candidates in terms of poll numbers, money and endorsements. But a succession of setbacks and the possibility of another mainstream rival joining the race has, to some degree, checked the presumptiveness of the presumptive candidate.
This was a week that started out on a high note, with the rollout of Clintons college affordability plan, a policy prescription driven in large part by the partys progressives. But the spotlight quickly moved to escalating investigations into the private email account the candidate used while secretary of state, and a drop in polls as reports renewed speculation that vice-president Joe Biden may join the race.
Despite the preponderance of evidence that suggests the nomination is Clintons to lose, doubts are cropping up.
Hillary Clinton is always inevitable until the moment she isnt, said Republican strategist Rick Wilson. He called Clinton the safe haven for the Democratic party, but said speculation that other candidates were actively considering a campaign was a signal of her potential vulnerability.

The Klinton Klan is incredibly resilient. She’s being thrown under the bus, but she might survive being run over. Until she’s got a stake run through her heart, I wouldn’t count her out.
And then maybe not.
She's evil.................
Wonder what she’ll plot with Obummer tonight on Martha’s presidential retreat for communists.
IOWs this lying evil half-witted hag is the best the Dems have got.

I’m very amused by this commie bimbo, Lauren Gambino at the Guardian, trying to build scaffolding under a collapsing jellyfish named Hillary. Poor Lauren will need a spoon and 30-gallon garbage bags to scoop up what’s left of Hillary before the month is done.
The Democrats would vote for Charles Manson if he had a D after his name on the ballot.
When she does not get the nomination, and she will not, I wonder if she will turn on Obama and Valarie Jarret?
I deeply hope that you are correct.
That is not to say that I agree with the leftist policy prescriptions of Elizabeth Warren--I do not--but, at least she says what she means, and means what she says; which is a virtue that certainly cannot be attributed to Hillary Clinton.
Moreover, a matchup between Elizabeth Warren (who says that she is not running for president) and just about any Republican would surely present the voters with a clear-cut choice between left-wing beliefs and right-wing beliefs; and I think that this rejection of the so-called "mushy middle" would be a very good thing.
