Fox News chairman Roger Ailes woke up Monday morning thinking that his network and Donald Trump's campaign had reached an understanding.
After a weekend's worth of stressful phone calls, the tacit agreement --- he thought --- was that Trump would stop attacking Ailes' "biggest television star," Megyn Kelly, in interviews and tweets.

War...war never changes...

Very clever #20. MK was despicable and transparent in her attempted take down of DT.
The attack supporting the dems phony war on women was the worst for me. She essentially joined the dems in promoting this ridiculous idea, while trying to say Trump needed to answer to “women” because he had spoken harshly about one of them.

I think you have hit on it.
When Rosie and Trump fight, it drives both their ratings up.
Trump has said as much...that celebrity fights are fun and good for ratings.

This is how Americans do it:
Both men faced each other sideways in the dueling position and hesitated briefly. Then Tutt reached for his pistol. Hickok drew his gun and steadied it on his opposite forearm.(75 yard distance) The two men fired a single shot each at essentially the same time, according to the reports.[4] Tutt missed, but Hickok's bullet struck Tutt in the left side between the fifth and seventh ribs. Tutt called out, “Boys, I'm killed,” ran onto the porch of the local courthouse and back to the street, where he collapsed and died.

Instead of bloviating, why don’t you read Trump’s latest book. Your community’s library probably has it.

I just looked at the updated Nielsen numbers and the viewer boycott of Fox and Megyn only lasted one day (Tuesday).
On Wednesday, she’s back up to where she was on Monday and the same for Fox prime in general.
It will be interesting to see what happens now that everything is back to normal with the ratings.
Kinda disappointed that the boycott only lasted one day but I’m not really surprised.

Machinegun Kellys pre-meditated, rapid-fire, Marxist-meme, interrogate-interrupt, amplify-the-lie AMBUSH of a republican presidential candidate was as bad as it gets. She emptied the magazine on Trump in rat-a-tat fashion. He is still standing. Shes bleeding out.
FOX hunting season.
LOL and right on!
Machinegun Kelly announced last night, that she's taking a vacation and won't return to her "Kelly Files" till August 24.
P.S.
One look at her and it's obvious she desperately needs "time off."

Sounds like Roger is the baby if this scenario is true. So one of his reporters were criticized? Big deal. Trump is a private citizen and candidate. The media is supposed to report on him, not criticize him. And if he criticizes one of them-—tough, suck it up. That’s the price of being a journalist.
But of course, none of them are. They’re just shills. Shills working for...?
To: onyx
It really wasn't only Megyn Kelly either--- The whole network set him up in an organized plan--- Brett Baier with his raise your hand oath that he already knew Trump would be the only one to raise his hand.. The Megyn Kelly question where she took some "Apprentice" quote out of context that she knew he would have no way of remembering in a live debate. The Chris Wallace question implying that he had personally filed for bankruptcy.
Then the after show where all the pontificators agreed that they have never seen anyone lose a debate as badly as Trump. For the final kill they throw on a "random" focus group who all loved Trump before the debate but somehow when Trump says exactly the same things he has been saying non-stop for three months they leave the debate all thinking Trump is a horrible person. It was a complete hit job from the beginning to the end.

Post. Of. The. Day.
Wish I could send that to MeGYN, Ailes and Trump.

Trump had the trump card.
About 21 million of the 24 million were viewers to the debate that watched primarily because of Trump, not Kelly.

My guess is that another anchor asked Trump about it.
And Trump answered.
Ailes can’t control that. He can do one of two things. He can stand behind Megan and if she does it again, watch his numbers sink even further. Or he can replace her, in which case it looks like Trump wins.
