Trump: "We Need A Strong Temperament In This Country"
RealClearPolitics ^ | 8/12/2015 | Staff

Posted on 08/13/2015 8:03:08 AM PDT by GilGil

In an interview with nationally-syndicated radio talk show host Hugh Hewitt on Wednesday, Republican candidate for president Donald Trump addressed criticism of his temperament made by the host, the truth about his phone call with Bill Clinton, and the U.S. being the "policemen of the world."

“.I guess Hewitt does not want to be gutted by Trump the way Megyn was.”

LOL....the ONLY reason Hewitt won’t screw with Trump.

quote “The primary process is grueling and if Trump makes it all the way to the end in 9 months and gets the nomination he has my vote.”

this we agree on.

If Trump gets the nomination, I will vote for him and hope for the best. Because I would rather hope for the best with Trump, because I KNOW for certain the damage the socialist Democratic candidate will inflict.

I also saw a Don Lemon interview of Trump at CNN. The same thing occurred. In an other previous interview Lemon was very aggressive with Trump. In this latest interview he was a total pussy cat. I noticed the same change in attitude towards Trump on Morning Joe. Amazing!

Boy! Trump knows how to command respect.

I was commenting on one of Trumps defining characteristics.

When attacked, he counter attacks twice as hard and basically “nukes them off the face of the map”.

And pointing out the fact that like ANY politician eventually Trump WILL disagree with the base on something (it’s as certain as the sun coming up that a politician will eventually disagree with their base on something)

And when that day comes (and it will) what will Trump do? In my opinion he will stay true to form and do what he always does, he will counter attack twice as hard and nuke the conservative base off the face of the map!

You do not know what he will do. You are making all kinds of assumptions. You simply do not know what the future holds.

We've been "mad as hell" for a real long time. We now might be at the "not going to take it anymore" stage.

You're spot on.

I've said it for a very long time (and posted same here...) that the political pendulum swings left, and it swings right.

The past 6.5 years, the political pendulum didn't just swing left, it swung hard left pushed to its maximum left by the occupant in the White House and his willing co-whores in the liberal lamestream media.

What happens when the pendulum swings too far either way? BACKLASH.

That's what's coming and you can literally feel it: The backlash from the swing to the far left is going to be a bitch for the liberal/progressives/leftists in this country. They're going to get back what they dished out in spades.

Trump doesn’t take prisoners. The mediots are scared now, as it costs them ratings, and doesn’t cost Trump anything.

Tell me specifically where we disagree?

Do you disagree that Trump when attacked always counter attacks twice as hard?

Do you disagree that ANY politician will eventually disagree with their base over something?

Because that is all I am saying and drawing the logical conclusion.

I dont know that eventually ANY politician will do something to anger his base?

I know that about as much as I know the sun will rise tomorrow!

It’s not a matter of IF, it’s a matter of WHEN.

---

I am going to start taking down the names of all the Trump apologists, so I can send out a big TOLD YOU SO message when he eventually turns on us (and he will).

Being the soothsayer you pretend to be. When your guy does it, pencil in your own name, and look in a mirror when you do.

The only disagreement is that if Trump does something I disagree with he will lose my support. He is a leader and presumably has access to information I do not have.

If Trump by some miracle gets elected and is able to turn around the economy where the country is making money, people will be happy. If he does not do this he will be fired!

Pretty simple.

Please, put me first on your "told you so" list if you are correct. I can take it, <^..^>

Even if what you say turns about to be true, it's a reason to support Trump. Our first priority (I assume everyone can agree) is to dethrone Jeb and send him crying to mommie that he's been bullied or spoken to in unkind words or whatever. Destroy McCain's image FOREVER. I'm all for it, given his part in creating, arming, training and funding ISIS. And who knows? Any of the DC creeps end up in jail, and it's all good.

With your scenario, there's another positive. The political crowd that pollutes DC will know that US citizens have limits. Send that message....purchase yourself a Trump 2016 shirt!

We are witnessing a power struggle between two factions of RINO’s over control of the Republican party (lets call them the McCain faction and the Trump faction). And conservatives are aiding the Trump faction because they hate the McCain faction so much. But they dont seem to realize that the two are basically the same, the only difference is WHO will be in charge when all the dust clears.

McCain and Trump are the same?

I'm really sorry about the accident where you fell and hit your head. Are you sure you'll be able to make a list on your own?

I am really sorry you are unable to engage in a debate without resulting to insults like liberals typically do when they are losing.
