Maybe it’s time for Trump to ‘show where the bones’ are buried with this guy Reince Priebus.

From your evidence, it appears the moderators were inviting debate on subjects like bulk collection, Common Core and entitlements funding.

I heard the man say “I decided to run as a Republican because I knew it was the best option to get elected” or something very close to that...I took it to mean “I will run for the party that will make it easier to get elected and then run the country the way I want...” and he has been a Democrat for a very long time!

I can’t believe he has so much support on FR...but then again, maybe it says something about what type of posters are taking over FR!!!! Too many of the older, true conservatives have been run off to be replaced by the more “middle of the road”, which most often means closer to the left side of the scale. I love FR and have no plans to leave...and I will support Jim Robinson every way I can...and he KNOWS that.

I’m praying for the safety of the country...I’m praying for a true Conservative to get elected so they can work on our Country’s recovery!

Trump needs an anti-Trump moderator so he can demonstrate his dignity and issue orientation.

“I decided to run as a Republican because I knew it was the best option to get elected”

That describes 99% of the politicians, they don't have core beliefs, they play the role they think will more easily get them to DC and with it, the riches it entails.

“questions where one candidate was asked to attack another”

Each is a great opportunity for the answerer to give an enlightening answer and/or school the moderator that asked it. Or, for the answerer to make a fool of himself or herself.

No matter what the audience learns from the exchanges.

Well, good for Reince. Apparently he’s eager for another bump in Trump’s poll numbers. (When will they learn?)

But it's not a debate; it's a series of staged cage matches.

A debate is where a topic is presented, one person states a position, and others rebut that position. You can't rebut the "when did you stop calling women pigs" question asked of someone else. You can't rebut the "any word from God" snark. You can't rebut the "was he lying" taunt.

Maybe you learned something, but you could have learned so much more meaningful information from a properly moderated debate.

I think we can always learn from the candidate’s answers whether a good or a bad answer.

The candidates are as responsible as the moderators for a debate becoming a cage match.

I expect a lot from a person that wants to persuade us that they should be our next president.

That are moderated by die-hard Democrats who want nothing more than to make all of the candidates look bad.

That would be Reince “Haley Barbour” Priebus. RP wouldn’t have his job without Haley Barbour and I doubt Haley does many favors for free. I believe RP is a tool of Haley’s K Street crowd and of the US Chamber of Commerce.

The more biased the moderators are against Trump, the better he will do. The GOPe really is clueless.

Americans (conservatives anyway) root for the underdog, even if the underdog is leading.

It’s also the root of 99% of all our problems. What’s unusual is for one of these guys to admit it, they usually only spout meaningless phrases like “I’m conservative” but apparently only 1% knows the meaning of the word. I’m for Senator Cruz, no second choice.

The candidates are as responsible as the moderators for a debate becoming a cage match.

Did you catch this exchange between Brett Baier and Ted Cruz? The subject was financial aid to Israel, and was directed to Rand Paul.

BAIER: Senator Paul, the first budget your proposed as senator cut all financial aid to Israel. You have since changed your view on that issue. What made you change your mind.

PAUL: Well, let’s be clear, I’m the only one on the stage who actually has a five-year budget that balances. I’ve put pencil to paper…

[snip]

BAIER: Governor Christie, what do you think of that answer?

[snip]

CRUZ: Brett, can I — Brett, can I jump in on this one?

BAIER: Senator, we’re going to finish up with some more questions, thank you.

KELLY: We have to stand you by, because after the break, we’re going to let the candidates make their closing statements, their final thoughts, and God.

Stay tuned for that.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

Overall, Cruz got the 4th highest speaking time at 6:39. The moderators spoke for 31:53. Cruz wanted to be a part of this discussion, but the moderators wouldn't let him, having already wasted valuable time on trivialities. Cruz has been one of the strongest supporters of Israel in Congress, but he was frozen out of the discussion at the debate.

“FOX News is just another left-of-center phony news source.”

Effective July 1, 2015 Rupert Murdoch’s liberal sons took control of Fox. Fox is now in transition to be just another propaganda mouthpiece for the global progressive movement.
