Another huge crowd (in LA) for Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders

Dante Harris, the leader of a local flight attendants union, had a question for the 17,500 people inside the Los Angeles Sports Arena.

“Did all of you make the trip out here on a Monday night because everything is going well for you and your family?”

“No!” they shouted in unison.

Harris nodded in agreement and shouted back: “Workers’ lives matter! ... Black lives matter! ... The truth matters!”

Deafening cheers nearly drowned out Harris as he said: “We can build a movement with Bernie!”

Roughly 28,000 showed up to see Sanders Sunday in Portland, Ore., the largest crowd of the 2016 presidential campaign cycle. He drew 15,000 in Seattle on Saturday. Approximately 11,000 were in Phoenix recently; 10,000 in Madison, Wis.; 8,000 in Dallas , and 4,500 in New Orleans.

We need to ask the Wash Rag if she can explain the difference between a Socialist and a Communist.

I would LOVE to see a presidential debate between Cruz and Sanders.

Neither of the two are dishonest about their beliefs, don’t dumb-down their positions, and represent two extremely different parts of the political spectrum.

And they would actually be civil towards each other.

Then again I would like to see Trump because he would stomp the guy in the first 30 seconds and then beat him like a read-headed step mule.

Bernie gets the commies/gimmedats (about 35% of all voters) and Trump will get a fair number of Reagan Dem’s leaving the Hag with little to no support - she is over but not until someone throws water on her.

FWIW, I suspect that either Trump or Cruz vs Sanders would be a vigorous discussion of the issues. All three of them care more about the US than about playing politics.

I've often said that honest discussion far left vs far right is what we need. We all should be working to get rid of the garbage in the middle, so that can happen.

I’m worried about this guy. The lefties in my family are treating him like a breath of fresh air.

The LA Sports Arena is slated to be torn down.
Do you mean to tell me that it’s final event will be a sellout Bernie Sanders gig?

We should worry. Socialism has gone mainstream. No longer whispered in muted tones in musty backrooms. Some of the things on his platform (paid maternity leave, “free” college) will prove extremely popular with most voters.

Funny you should mention neighbor. Mine is an 84 y/o widow whose lived next to me for 35+ years. She's selling soon and I'm afraid - with all the gubmint handouts - that my new neighbor might be a houseful of undesirables.

You might get a bunch of rag-head mooslams who will steal every thing you got and do strange things to your cat...

It's been said that the obummer is moving in moosslams by the thousands into the better neighborhoods so his army can be ready to go at a moments notice.....

So they say....

:(
