Indianapolis police fatally shot a "troubled" 15-year-old boy who evaded officers at a traffic stop and accelerated toward them in a car that matched the description of one that had been reported carjacked, the city's assistant police chief said Monday.
Three officers opened fire Sunday night on the carjacking suspect, identified by the local coroner's office as Andre Green, because they felt threatened as he accelerated the car toward them, said Assistant Police Chief Lloyd Crowe.

Green pleaded guilty in May to juvenile charges of auto theft and criminal mischief, court records show. According to Marion County juvenile court records, Green was found in July to have violated the terms of his probation stemming from that case.

Green's sister, Tericka Jackson, told WISH-TV that her brother was "a good person" and that he was attending a local high school.
"He would just be there to brighten up your day," she said.

He actually had a gun when he died, which he had fired at his carjacking victims earlier, in addition to the 4 wheeled weapon that he smashed into a police car.
I’m sure he brightened the day of those he stole from... Especially those he carjacked... I think all carjackers should be shot period.

If this scenario happened in NYC the cops would be at fault and be subject to department charges, civil suit, and most likely be fired. Different departments, different rules.

Many black kids don’t respect the police and attack them. The media should be asking why that is. But they won’t.

Yes, they probably did see something like the car jacking, the prior shooting earlier, the incidents during the finial minutes of her cousins last day on earth, all the things that could show how guilty he was. They are now taking their time to create their story which when finally told, would clearly show how “innocent” this poor, troubled (meaning criminal) child was.

I’m glad the cops lightened up HIS day.
Andre....named after his Congressional Representative, no doubt. (Andre Carson of the the , that tea bagger spit on me”, fame)
