While most of the media attention after last weeks GOP presidential debate has been focused on Donald Trump, Sen. Ted Cruz has seen a huge jump in his poll numbers, and apparently an explosion in campaign contributions since he took the stage.
Check it out!
Id say 225,000 contributions with an average contribution of $68 is quite impressive.
Its important to note that a lot of these contributions are coming from ordinary Americans, making this a true grassroots effort, rather than bowing to the will of corporations in order to get funding.
One of the reasons people seem to be flocking to Sen. Cruz is because he has a proven track record for standing against the establishment in Washington, ruffling feathers and being a rebel rouser simply by refusing to budge on the conservative principles he believes in.
Thats definitely the kind of attitude and record we need our nominee to have, and surprisingly, there are a few candidates who have this going for them like Rand Paul for example and hopefully well know exactly who the right man or woman for the job is after the next few debates.

Since the debate? Yowza! That’s hard to believe.
Fantastic news.
Must be a result of all the post-debate google searches for “Ted Cruz.” I heard somewhere that he led those at 67%.
I saw a US map of Cruz support and it was everything except the urban coastal areas.
Wow

You bet!
That’s more than $15 million bucks!
.
That’s a lot of cash, E-S.
And, I’m betting the lion’s share was from Christian conservatives.
Good news. In short supply of late.

>> “Too bad donations to FR arent skyrocketing.” <<
That could be due to all the TRUMPeting going on.

Sounds like a safe bet.
$15 mil is terrific. I fail to see why they keep saying Bush “has the money.” Bush has nothing compared to Trump, and while I haven’t kept up with Cruz’s fundraising, I know it has been extremely impressive.
Good news ping!
Cruz’ donations should be around $60 million at this point.
His book has to be helping to open eyes.
Cruz used the words “Radical Islam”, that was worth several million in itself.
A mild phrase by my standards but, considering what we have heard since 2001 it’s a start.
You broke the code.
This is great news.
You and I are absolutely on the same sheet on that one. I'm almost getting the impression they're running interference for each other.
Jeb fading into the background....I think. As Mark Steyn says, three of the last five presidents being from the same family is unbecoming of a republic. (a close paraphrase)
Besides, they gave us both Anthony Kennedy and John Roberts. Might as well have had Bill Clinton selecting judges.
Thank you so much for that wonderful news!
That should be “rabble-rouser”.
I'd like to see him raise $500mil from individual contributors, and if Trump bows out or flames out, he'll get $500 from me.
Even though I don't like him, I believe he's the second most likely to burn Wash DC to the ground.
Hell, I don't even like Trump lol
