Donald Trump and the Fox News Channel are in talks about Trump possibly appearing on Fox on Monday night, according to a source with knowledge of the talks.
Trump has been lambasting Fox for days, ever since he was challenged in last week's GOP debate.
It is "highly unlikely" Trump would appear at 9 p.m. with host Megyn Kelly, the source said, and that's probably an understatement. Trump has repeatedly and personally insulted Kelly in recent days.
But talks are underway about a Trump interview with another prime time host, like Sean Hannity, the source said, adding that nothing had been confirmed as of Monday morning.
In the meantime, Fox has dramatically ratcheted down its coverage of Trump. It hasn't covered Trump's criticisms of Kelly and the two other debate moderators, Chris Wallace and Bret Baier.
Trump's most recent tweet about Fox came on Sunday afternoon: "It amazes me that other networks seem to treat me so much better than Fox News. I brought them the biggest ratings in history, and I get zip!"
This is a true clash of titans. Fox News is the favored network of Republicans, and Trump is the Republican campaign front-runner.

Trump is kicking butt. He survived the political assassination attempt of the last few days and now Fox wants to deal with him to be on their network and RNC wants to deal with him about the pledge.

He should ask for a piece of the additional ad revenues Fox
has collected due to his appearance on the so called “debate”
and donate the money to the veterans.
Most candidates have to beg to get on the shows. Trump “gets into talks” about giving them the benefit of his appearance. Freakin’ Don!
News Max, now has a news channel and OANN is definitely a conservative channel NO advertisers It is a shame that a conservative channel can NOT have advertisers to be able to have the content they desire!!!!! The LIBERAL channels can spew their venom and have advertisers!!!!! We are a force when we all get really pissed about something like Phil of Duck Dynasty, or the Donald I guess we just don’t fight back enough to get changes in television content!!!!!
Trump doesn’t deserve the time of day, as he is no conservative.
No way that Trump should go on Fox until….
1. Their ratings have taken a huge hit.
2. Some time has elapsed on the bad ratings so that Fox can know that everyone is pi$$ed off at them.
3. Trump gets an apology for the terrible manner that the ‘debate’ was handled…… and frankly, the apology should extend to the other candidates as well.
4. Trump gets a personal apology for how his comments were taken out of context and extrapolated upon in a way that directly hurts him.
5. A new debate is announced… the candidates can come up with an agreed to formula for how it would work and who would moderate it. Fox carries it but has no say in how it would be executed.
Yes, it was an awful missed opportunity... a stage filled with the best of our candidates, where we could have learned much of their (often differing) perspectives, plans, and policies.... and we get gotz out of it...
He was reading that “prepared” lecture. So, he knew what Trump’s response would be. Brett Baier does not deserve any slack. All three of them were disgusting.
Well you are right. As I said before I don’t care who does it but somebody at Fox needs to apologize to Trump and to the American public for subjecting everyone to such a debacle.

I don’t see that happening because then EVERY GOPers are going to want equal time. Fox has dug themselves into a hole and they would only be digging the hole deeper.

How about DT as a leader of a panel discussion with Cruz, Carson and Santorum or Huckaby. Small group.discussiin. Those that EE did not invite to RED STAR forum where 800 would see them could be viewed by a million or two

Been watching FNC less and less as the years have gone by, after Thursday night it was *very* easy to just stop tuning them in, period.

Trump has done more to mainstream conservative issues than any “conservative” candidate in the POTUS race. Yet Trump is the one who is not the genuine conservative?
