If “police and MI5 are involved in a frantic race against time” why are they announcing it? If it were thwarted (past tense), that’d be another thing.
Seems odd to release details of a “frantic” hunt for a terror cell to a newspaper.

You know, I keep waiting for the last straw. Again and again jihadis murder people and I think, well that will be the last straw, now the West will wake up. And again and again we continue to snooze.
I wish her Majesty no harm at all, but I wonder if the jihadis did murder her would that be the last straw?

These are public figures, I won’t describe my other fears....but my greatest fear is that we’ll never wake up to the jihadi determination to kill us all.

I take it that every London Metro Police MP5 and G36K will be on the streets of London during the VJ ceremony.
