This is the election where the people will finally refuse to let the Republican establishment shove the RINO candidate down our throats. We will have a conservative in 2016.

Not to mention he has a lot of money to lose if people won’t use his poll tested answers. Trump told him to pack sand.

These don’t appear to be scientific polls. They appear to be unscientific online polls that are utterly meaningless.

Trump handled the debate pretty well, but he certainly didn’t double his support which stood around 25% in polls of Republican voters. The very fact that these polls show that tells you precisely how meaningless they are.

We will know over the next few days of scientific polling how the candidates fared - not from this click bait gibberish.

That’s why the media isn’t reporting any of their own polls on who won.

Such poll “results” probably “estimated” before debate started.

Trump sucked. But I understand the polling. A large majority of eighties have had it with media, eunuch Republicans and the Chamber of Commerce. But Cruz, Rubio and Fiorina are much smarter and fluent on the issues. I wanted Trump to be good so he could carry the ball on illegals and the economy but as hard as I tried I could not overlook his praise of single payer in Canada and Sweden.

In 2008 he was described as an: “obese guy with good software”

Nothing has changed except his utter corruption.

No, we know the next day. People either get a bump or they sink. This isn’t decades ago, people can and do react in real time through multiple channels.

Polls are typically taken over a 3-day period. So, the first polls that fully reflect the standing after the debate won't come out for a few days.

Sure, but we need to see scientific polls to know that. I don’t know of any post debate scientific polls yet.

The polls in this thread are unscientific online clickbait. They are not real polls.

Scott Walker got 5 minutes in the 2 hour debate less than half of what Trump and way under what the eight of the others got. His questions were loaded, especially abortion question which should have been asked of all the candidates. Mothers or next of kin never have a choice of aborting a baby or losing the life of the mother. Walker answered in a way that was misunderstood by the moderators. With modern medicine today this never happens. I don not think the powers that be at Fox like the Governor they are afraid he might win.

To you maybe. I prefer a conservative with some core principles that do not include single payer, being a democrat because you live in New York and having late term epiphanies on killing babies. But hey, to each his own.

“Scott Walker got 5 minutes in the 2 hour debate”

Pretty much each time he answered, he had time left over and he didn’t use it. His fault.

The moderators were so bad that none of the candidates appeared like losers. The only losers were the moderators.

I think much of this is condemnation of the moderators/media as much as it is support for Trump.

He thought he was fighting for American when he supported single payer healthcare, was completely pro abortion, considered himself a Democrat, gave gobs of money to liberals, had glowing things to say about Hillary Clinton, called Bush “evil”, and thought Obama fixed the economy.

You know that wasn’t so long ago. But I guess the Trumpsters don’t care that he has now “evolved” (his own words) recently and claims to have morphed into a conservative.

This is just cult of personality stuff. Trump is fighting for himself and will do whatever he needs to do at any given time to further his ambitions.

Saying that, I still think Trump did pretty well in the debate and probably didn’t lose much if any ground. Luntz’s focus group thing is a stupid exercise is narrative creating group think.
