Carly Fiorina took her post-debate victory lap to MSNBC tonight, where Chris Matthews confronted her for slamming Hillary Clinton as a liar. Matthews was really taken aback and said, “You really think that’s a way to engage in a debate, to call your opponent a liar! I’m astounded by that judgment of yours.” Fiorina insisted she said it because it’s the truth, she was specific, and she hates talking in “sanitized soundbites.” When Matthews pressed her on the specifics, Fiorina said, “Benghazi, emails, and server.” Matthews got a bit combative over Benghazi, but Fiorina stood by her guns and said she’ll be perfectly happy to debate Clinton

....As she would half of the current candidates in the top tier. Fox gave Cruz less time than any other candidate. In my opinion, Jindal and Fiorina should be top tier.

She went on because she is confident enough to school him, which she did. It was a treat to watch, unlike his normal smirk at the end, he was serioulsy deflated, I loved it.
I don’t have a candidate yet but her answer about being a Republican because she believes all people are equal, etc. was one of the best philosophical arguments for conservatism I’ve heard articulated by any political figure in a very, very long time (especially the part about those babies being picked apart by planned parenthood).
Hillary is a liar. Mitch McTurtle is a liar. Why is there a penalty for stating a fact?

Chris Matthews is pandering to his communist audience. I think the last Gallup poll showed that a majority of americans believe Hillary is a liar. If Chris Matthews does not then one really has to question his intelligence.

Thanks. That, by itself does not DQ her, but I agree it is troubling. Maybe she brought some common sense to that stupid plenary discussing “Economic Justice.”
Maybe the transcript of her remarks reads like this:
Fiorina: “You want ‘economic justice’? Stay in school, don’t do drugs, stay out of gangs, show up on time, don’t carry a chip on your shoulder, put in an honest eight hours work for eight hours pay. Case closed.”
If that was the totality do her remarks, I’d be pleased. But I doubt it.
