Denver, CO – Today, President Bill Clinton, Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Clinton Foundation Vice Chair Chelsea Clinton opened the fourth meeting of Clinton Global Initiative America (CGI America) in Denver. This year’s CGI America meeting is the first to convene in the region, bringing together more than 1,000 leaders from the business, foundation, NGO, and government sectors to develop solutions for economic growth, long-term competitiveness, and social mobility.
The opening plenary, “The Case for Economic Justice: Mobility, Opportunity, and America’s Growth,” featured remarks by Secretary Clinton; Bloomberg Professor of Economics at Harvard University, Raj Chetty; and Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper, who explored solutions for creating economic opportunity and advancing upward mobility for Americans across the country.

Thanks. That, by itself does not DQ her, but I agree it is troubling. Maybe she brought some common sense to that stupid plenary discussing “Economic Justice.”

Maybe the transcript of her remarks reads like this:

Fiorina: “You want ‘economic justice’? Stay in school, don’t do drugs, stay out of gangs, show up on time, don’t carry a chip on your shoulder, put in an honest eight hours work for eight hours pay. Case closed.”

If that was the totality do her remarks, I’d be pleased. But I doubt it.
