Shreveport police: Officer shot, killed; manhunt ongoing (1)

SHREVEPORT, La. (August 6, 2015) — Police in northwest Louisiana say an officer has died after being shot while on duty, and a manhunt for a suspect is under way.
Shreveport police spokesman Bill Goodin tells The Associated Press that investigators believe they know who the suspect is and are obtaining a warrant for his arrest.
