BILL CLINTON BAGGED $16 MILLION FROM COMPANY THAT RECEIVED MILLIONS FROM HILLARY’S STATE DEPT.

Newly released financial disclosures reveal Bill Clinton received $16.46 million in payments from a George Soros-backed for-profit education company, as Hillary Clinton’s State Department funneled tens of millions of dollars to a group run by the company’s chairman.

With $4 billion in annual revenue, Laureate Education is America’s largest for-profit college company. From 2010 until just days before the 2015 release of Clinton Cash, Bill Clinton served as Laureate’s “honorary chancellor.” When the Clinton campaign team obtained a copy of the book and its Clinton-Laureate connection revelation, Bill Clinton abruptly resigned.

Laureate’s chairman and longtime Clinton crony, Douglas Becker, is also the chairman of a nonprofit sister organization called the International Youth Foundation (IYF). Indeed, IYF’s offices are less than a mile from Laureate’s in Baltimore. Shortly after Laureate made Bill Clinton its honorary chancellor in April 2010, Hillary Clinton made Laureate part of her State Department Global Partnership. IYF received USAID funds before Hillary’s tenure at the State Dept. But the grants the group received exploded after Bill Clinton was put on the Laureate payroll.

LINK says the Clintons gave $3 million in 2014 to the Clinton Family Foundation, a small private foundation that the family uses as a pass-through to other charities. Records show the CFF disbursed $3.7 million in 2014, including $1.8 million to the Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton Foundation. That contribution was the family’s largest by a significant margin that year. They made numerous smaller donations to other groups, including the American Ireland Fund.....

EXHIBIT ONE Hillary Clinton's last offical trip was to Ireland with Huma Abedin. Hillary attended an event hosted by a major Clinton Foundation donor that had been promoted by Teneo Strategies (for which Abedin then-served as a "consultant")

EXHIBIT TWO The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) received hundreds of millions from foreign nations between 2009 and 2014, including: the UK ($79.7 million), Australia ($58.6 million), Norway ($38.1 million), Canada ($12.1 million), Ireland ($11.7 million), Sweden ($7.2 million), and New Zealand ($1.2 million). A Boston Globe investigative report found that foreign donations “sharply accelerated” to CHAI when Hillary Clinton became secretary of state.

EXHIBIT THREE Bill's honoraria increased dramatically---earning some $50 million during Hillary's four-year term as secretary of State....including an Irish scholarship fund, a Korean conglomerate, and, a Nigerian newspaper company......each of whom paid Bill Clinton more than half a million dollars for a single speech.

The FBI is looking into Hillary Clinton’s homebrew private e-mail setup while she was a Cabinet official. News stories say the server was part of her political operation..."Denver company, Platte River Networks, "helped manage the unusual system, according to two government officials."

Sen. Chuck Grassley (Rep-Iowa), Senate Judiciary Committee chair, said an IG probe suggested Huma Abedin leveraged her State Department job to benefit her two other employers at the time: the Clinton Foundation and a consulting firm, Teneo Strategies founded by Doug Band longtime aide to Bill Clinton, which boasted the ex-president as a paid board member when launched in 2011.

The State Department's inspector general began looking into the issue of Abedin's SGE "special employment" designation in 2013, Grassley confirmed in a letter to Abedin. "The Committee has learned of allegations that, during your simultaneous employment by the Department of State, Teneo, and the Clinton Foundation, you were solicited for and delivered favors for preferred individuals," Grassley wrote to Abedin.

Examples of Abedin's potential conflicts of interest cited by Sen Grassley include:

<><> Abedin allegedly sent or received more than 7,000 emails on her US government account that involved Teneo's Band, the letter said.

<><> one email exchange involved Teneo's Band pressuring Abedin to encourage her State Department boss, Hillary Clinton, to facilitate a White House appointment for one of his clients. Judith Rodin, then-president of the Rockefeller Foundation, "which donated hundreds of millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation," which Mr. Band allegedly noted in his email to Ms. Abedin.

<><> email evidence allegedly suggests that Ms. Abedin and another Hillary aide, Cheryl Mills, shared a desire to find a way to ensure the US govt paid for Ms. Abedin's travel to and from New York."

<><> a $33,000 payment Abedin received from the State Department for leave she hadn't used.

<><> multiple allegations received by the Judiciary Committee indicated Abedin had actually taken leave during her time as a govt employee, casting doubt on whether Abedin should have received $33,000 in taxpayer money.

<><> allegations surfaced that the State Dept personnel rule was quietly bent to permit Abedin to collect her government paycheck while wielding her influence to the benefit of her other employers.

<><> Hillary Clinton jetted to Ireland with Abedin at her side for her last official trip before exiting the State Dept, during which Hillary attended an event hosted by a major Clinton Foundation donor that had been promoted by Teneo (for which Abedin then-served as a "consultant")

<><> Abedin's special employment status gave her heavy influence over Hillary Clinton's State Dept schedule and travel at the same time Abedin served as a senior adviser at Teneo, and performed other duties at the Clinton Foundation.

<><> Abedin was among several key aides to Hillary Clinton that hosted email accounts on a private server in the 2016 presidential candidate's Chappaqua, New York home, in violation of federal records laws.

BACKSTORYAbedin worked as a full-time staffer to Hillary Clinton January 2009-June 2012; she was then given a "special government employee" designation and took on roles at the Clinton Foundation and Teneo.That designation is designed to allow individuals who fill "an unmet government need for rare or unique expertise" to retain their private-sector positions while receiving compensation from the government.

Abedin is currently vice-chair of Hillary's presidential campaign committee.
