How ironic is it that the FALN murdered people to get independence for Puerto Rico but now want the US to bail them out?

The city will kick in half a million dollars to open and expand job centers for day laborers, City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito said Monday.
The centers serve as hiring halls for mostly immigrant laborers who have traditionally gathered on street corners waiting for work, instead providing a safe spot where contractors can show up to hire people for construction, roofing, and other jobs.
The $500,000 grant will go towards expanding an existing center in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, and opening new ones in Queens and Staten Island.

Wasting $500K we could desperately use to fix the potholed and otherwise destroyed streets, buy textbooks for classrooms, renovate libraries-—instead, they will waste it on illegals who have no business being here anyway. Ditto their providing said illiterate resource-sucking illegals with free food, housing, medical care and education. Viverito herself is probably an illegal. I always question her loyalty to the U.S., as she seems to use her head of the City council position as a lobbyist for Hispanic causes.
I bet they don't bother to screen out the rapists and murderers.

Serious question. Can the city be sued in a class action lawsuit? The citizens of NYC don’t deserve to have their tax dollars supporting illegal activities.

Regarding Todo Nueva York con Vieques and Mujeres del Barrio, I can find nothing about either organization.

All vetted and with criminal background checks I’m sure. I always tell people to think long and hard about letting these people into your house to do work.
Why don’t they put one of these into, say, Chappaqua, NY in Hillary’s neighborhood?
