AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile users across the country, but especially in the Southeast reported outages Tuesday afternoon, with reports coming in from California, the midwest U.S. and the Chattanooga region.
Though some users reported that their phones displayed several bars of signal strength, they were still unable to complete calls or use mobile data.
AT&T's outages appeared to be concentrated in Kentucky, Tennessee and North Georgia, with other scattered outages appearing from coast to coast, with T-Mobile users losing service in Huntsville, Alabama, and Louisville, Kentucky.

Wait a tic...looks like it may be expanding a bit?
Jade Helm.
Have you hugged your NSA dude today?
I recall the days of bliss when once you left the office, you were “offline”. And if you needed to make a call you stopped at a pay phone.
Today it’s horror for many to not be connected in the vein to technology.
Had a similar issue last week. Cleared up when I moved to a different location.
I tried to make a cell phone call this morning. I live in the Florida Panhandle.
All I got was noise and a strange static sounding noise too.
I didn’t think much about it at the time as the call was not important and I just hung up.
I am in North Alabama. Verizon is down here.
And a lot of deals and business was lost because of that fact.
Microsoft only exists as we know it today because the head of Digital Research, Gary Kildall, was not reachable at a critical moment and IBM moved on down their list of OS vendors to Microsoft. If he had been reachable, Bill Gates would never have had a chance to launch and DR-DOS would have been *the* operating system for IBM PCs and compatibles.

Wireless networks are experiencing outages in Nashville. Many riders are unable to request. Were working with carriers to resolve issue!
“And a lot of deals and business was lost because of that fact.”
And yet we still made a good living and had good lives.
I am in same neck of woods. Mine has been cutting in and out all day.
And a lot of people had their lives and careers ruined because of that, too. Not to mention not being able to summon medical or police aid.
Are you also going to bemoan the loss of the horse and buggy and the demise of the ‘boneshaker’ bicycle?
Um, I live in north Georgia, have ATT for mobile and Internet and have been working online on the phone all day.
Phil Valentine was talking about this on his radio show this afternoon. Said police dept.’s and emergency services were affected, and that’s never a good thing. Hope the issue is cleared up quickly. It’s more than just an inconvenience in their cases. It’s dangerous for those ho need help.
Part of the ongoing jihad, which we will not hear about from the incompetents in D.C.
ho = who.
*sigh*
I am afraid you are right.
