The Hill that "the Gawker number published was "very old" and not one that Trump uses, downplaying the significance of it being released." So which is it?
Is this double speak and a politician-like response?
Hmmmm.
A politician after all?
You decide.
Who really cares if it keeps Gawker tied up in their underwear. Do you honestly think this is something that matters in the scheme of things?
Give it up. When Trump pulled that stunt it was original and funny.
“Thank you @gawker! Call me on my cellphone 917.756.8000 and listen to my campaign message,” Trump tweeted Tuesday morning.
Gawkers Nasty Article Could Cost Gawker A Lot Of Money
The gist of the story: A gay male escort, whom Gawker calls Ryan but who since has been identified as Leif Derek Truitt, approached Gawker with a series of pictures and text messages that show him planning a sexual encounter with David Geithner, the CFO of media company Conde Nast, in return for $2,500. Truitt apparently discovered that Geithner is the brother of former Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, and decided to blackmail him. He demanded that Geithner use his personal connections to help Truitt in a housing dispute he has with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). When Geithner tried to break off the arrangement, Truitt took everything to Gawkers Jordan Sargent, who published it all.
Sounds to me like Gawker got Pwned!

One day after Gawker published one of presidential candidate Donald Trump's old cell phone numbers, the real estate mogul is taking control of the situation by changing his voicemail and taunting the media outlet on social media.
"Thank you @gawker! Call me on my cellphone 917.756.8000 and listen to my campaign message," Trump tweeted Tuesday morning.
Whatever number they gave out, Trump should leave a recorded political message about his accomplishments and plans
Gawker ended up getting owned by Trump this morning.
LoL. The real response.
Trump haters.
