The Trump campaign is hitting back at the Harvard students who pulled an elaborate prank on the Republican presidential candidate, convincing him that he had been endorsed by the schools student paper.
The students who perpetrated this are fraudsters and liars, but frankly it was a waste of only a few minutes, Donald Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks told The Hill.
Trump was tricked by members of The Harvard Lampoon masquerading as Harvard Crimson staffers into a photo op, under the guise that he was being endorsed by the paper. In reality, the endorsement was part of an ongoing prank war between the Lampoon and the Crimson.
"Mr. Trump attended the great Wharton School of Finance, Hicks added, "a school that has more important things to do.
Harvard and Yale. You only go there to make contacts and get a leg up in grad school or the professions
Careful. There are many Freepers who are Harvard graduates.
“Pro-choice FReeper?” LOL, give me a break. I live in WI and appreciate the job Walker has done. I just think he’s not running a good presidential campaign.
I am talking about Walker’so presidential campaign. Not his job as Governor.
If you look at the elite schools — namely, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, and Stanford — they may be liberal overall, but there are conservative faculty and students at these institutions. The students are still receiving a great education without compromising their political or religious values.
Great conservative leaders come from all walks of life, and it would behoove us not to denigrate these schools simply because of a practical joke from some overrated newspaper.
Fair enough
