Irans ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said the nuclear inspection organization is barred from revealing to the United States any details of deals it has inked with Tehran to inspect its contested nuclear program going forward, according to regional reports.
Recent disclosures by Iran indicate that the recently inked nuclear accord includes a series of side deals on critical inspections regimes that are neither public nor subject to review by the United States.
Reza Najafi, Irans ambassador and permanent envoy to the IAEA, stated over the weekend that no country is permitted to know the details of future inspections conducted by the IAEA. In addition, no U.S. inspectors will be permitted to enter Irans nuclear sites.
The provisions of a deal to which the IAEA and a second country are parties are confidential and should not be divulged to any third country, and as Mr. Kerry discussed it in the Congress, even the U.S. government had not been informed about the deal between IAEA and Iran, Najafi was quotedas saying by Irans Mehr News Agency.

Rep. Mike Pompeo (R., Kansas) and at least 35 other lawmakers are circulating a letter to Obama to provide Congress the text of these agreements as is required under U.S. law.

Secretary of State John Kerry has personally stated he has not seen these agreements and the Administration failed to submit these agreements as part of the JPCOA, the email states.
Under the terms of a bill meant to give Congress a final say over the deal, the Obama administration is required to provide text of all agreements, the lawmakers write to Obama.

This was designed so that the US would be complicit to terrorism.
But still have culpable deniability.

The Deal? You have to get nuked to find out what’s in it. - Hanoi Boi.
Israel won’t fall, don’t concern yourself with that. Concern yourself with fixing the country.
So we lost the war and surrendered ?
I think they want to go down in history as having made the first Black American president look like a fool.

They shouldn’t have wasted any effort. Obama has accomplished that all by himself.
Obama has already done his job for them. Sanctions are off, Congress is largely irrelevant, why not make Obama and by extension the US look the fool.
Why not make Obama look the fool?
Well, it may stiffen the spine of Congress (unlikely).
It may make the election of Hillary, Biden, or Kerry less likely, and the election of someone like Trump or Cruz more likely.
It’s like counting your chips while sitting at the table. It might be fun to rub it in, but it can be counter productive later.
Not suggesting it’s a smart move on Iran’s part. There are things the US could do, and Obama’s only around for another year and a half. Could clearly be counter productive with a Republican President. I think they’re enjoying their victory. And who knows what their plans are for the next 18 months. They could well have a bomb by inauguration day, there’s no one to stop them. Which could have all kinds of ramifications. It’s probably a mistake to view them as rational actors, who I agree would bank their victory and quietly make the most of it the next few years. With some nice words for Obama, costs nothing. Clearly that’s not their plan, in many ways their incitement goes on unchanged. Rational in a western context, if you’re a twelver like most of the Mullahs you’re operating under a different set of rules.
If you’re a twelver...
Anything to make the Mahdi come up out of that well.
The thing is, you’d think that Obama would have enough advisers with familiarity with these goons to tell him if they are crazy or crazy like foxes. And what about the rest of the signatories? I know profit drives them, but an irrational actor with a bomb is a problem for them too. Consider the fallout if things so awry.
Thanks GOPJ.
You’d think the Euros would have some concerns, but they’re not looking past the next deal. Iran’s not a threat to China, probably afraid of Putin. A life or death conflict between Iran and Israel/Sunnis with the real potential to go nuclear, Europe will pine for the days when their only economic concern was Greece. And then there’s their local Muslim populations.
Exactly.
