WASHINGTON -- Donald Trump thinks the United States will not see another black president for some time because Barack Obama has "set a very poor standard," the billionaire businessman, entertainer and Republican presidential candidate told ABC News on Sunday. Trump -- who has questioned whether Obama was born in the United States and was once sued by the Justice Department because the management of his apartment complexes allegedly discriminated against black tenants -- also thinks he'll win the black vote.
Trump responded to a question on the show about a tweet he sent last year saying America would not see another black president for generations because of how poorly he thought Obama had done.
"He has done nothing for African Americans. You look at what's gone on with their income levels. You look at what's gone on with their youth. I thought that he would be a great cheerleader for this country. I thought he'd do a fabulous job for the African American citizens of this country. He has done nothing," Trump said.

He had no American ancestral history (like Carson, West or Justice Thomas) with an inspirational message of how our nation gives each one of us the freedom to pursue our goals & dreams.
There are so many citizens of color, successful in all professions. This is not news. The news that we are pummeled with every day includes urban gangs and aggressive white cops.
God help us see the good in each other and put an end to the contrived divisions which hucksters & politicians love.

Yeah, we did that...didn’t work...why repeat a mistake. West and Carson seem exceptions, but people will hesitate to pull a black lever just because of the record of “ the first black” president. He has ruined things for a long time for some probably exceptional people.

One an only hope so! That is, “put the GOPe out of business.” I don’t think they’ll give up very easily though. They’ve become remarkably similar to the Clinton machine, and we’ve seen what the Clintons do to their enemies when all else fails. Prayers to keep him safe!
Not just Obama. Aside from a few conservative blacks show me any black run city that is run well. Any large city run by a black runs it out of revenge and spite for perceived injustices by white people. The battle cry is always “NOW IT’S OUR TURN.” But it always means it’s their turn to stick it to the man and hand out the money.
And I was hoping for Herman Cain to win...
I agree Cruz is a real conservative and should be president, but Cruz thinks the system is fair and can be saved from within. We who are fed up with Washington and Obama’s abuses are beyond using the system, we have tried and been kicked in the teeth. I have reservations about Trump, but he is the only one who has come out and stated the obvious truth, we are in trouble and the system is broken.
