This is not really a problem because the police, Homeland Security and NSA have an absolute right to spy on citizens ... and that takes precedence over accidentally killing a bunch of people!

Terrorists will take note, and start using drones to take out passenger aircraft. Someone bent on an attack might have been able to guide the drone into the aircraft. Heck, maybe this was a dry run...

I suspect drones will not be legal much longer.

2 airliners have 100-foot near miss with drone above New York (JFK)

I guess not every headline writer got the memo that a "near miss" means they hit. (sigh)

Recreational use of drones is eventually going to cause some air disaster.

“Here’s a phrase that apparently the airlines simply made up: near miss. They say that if 2 planes almost collide, it’s a near miss. Bullshhhhhh, my friend. It’s a near hit! A collision is a near miss.
[WHAM! CRUNCH!]
“Look, they nearly missed!”
“Yes, but not quite.”

This is another case where people abuse things that will lead to elimination of those things.

I am not sure if this makes sense. I am a little under the weather today.

We will lose our rights to have a drone because of these idiots.
