Friday in Fort Lauderdale, FL at the National Urban League Conference, Republican presidential candidate former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-FL) said President Barack Obama is speaking the truth on racial injustice.
Bush said, When President Obama says that for too long weve been blind to the way past injustices continue to shape the present, he is speaking the truth. But we should be just as candid about our failures in addressing injustices of the more recent origin. In our cities weve got so many people that have never known anything but poverty is.
So many young adults with no vision of a life beyond the life they know. Its a tragedy for them in such a loss to our country because everyone has a God-given purpose to live out and God-given talents this world needs. Every one of them was also promised one-day break in life in the form of a public school to help them learn who they are and what they can do. For millions it is a false promise as technology advances, the first rung of the latter is higher and higher and higher.
If we dont create an education system that allows young people to reach it, we are setting them up for a lifetime of failure. You and I have to call the situation what it is. The worst inequality in America today and the source of so many other inequalities. I want to work with the Urban League movement to end this injustice once and for all.

My very first thought.
I hope he blows the Fox debate next week bigtime, and goes back to making sombreros.
I could be wrong, but I think Fox News is all in for Jeb. We'll know by the kind of questions he gets.
Obama has never spoken the truth.... because he does not know the truth..
primarily because he doesn’t want to know the truth..
The operative thing is that Jab Bush doesn’t know the truth
for the same reason.. either..
ALL Jeb Bush voters do not want to know the truth..
Hell of a lot of people do not seek the truth..
because they do not want to know the truth..
not that they even believe there IS “ Truth..”
To them TRUTH is OPINION...
WHich is what POLLS are based on.. peoples opinions..
What you mean "We", Paleface?
Perhaps, Jeb and his ilk have been blind to past injustices. And, perhaps, they haven't been candid about their failures.
But they speak for themselves. Not for the rest of us.
You are correct, Fox is all in for Jeb Arbusto.
I just hope by his answers to their questions it shows him to be the empty suit he is.
Jebber the Nut strikes again.
As long as his arguments are premised in a government-run education system, I cannot agree he is right.
Government schools teach government values. Government values are inherently despotic.
As I’ve stated more than a few times, “This man is not smart enough to be my president.”
