John Boehners allies returned fire at Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) on Wednesday, saying the conservative lawmakers half-hatched plot to depose the Speaker has boosted Democrats like Hillary Clinton.
Its terrible. It makes no sense. It helps the Democrats. It divides the party, Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) told The Hill. We should be spending all of August talking about the Iranian nuclear agreement, not this fools errand of vacating the Speakers chair.

It makes us look like a banana republic, he continued. All this does it create chaos, and a real conservative should not want chaos, certainly not needless chaos.
Rep. Tim Walberg (R-Mich.), a conservative former pastor who works closely with Meadows, said he, too, disagreed with the North Carolina Republicans unexpected action. Walberg serves as vice chairman of Meadows Oversight and Government Reform subcommittee and considers Meadows a friend.
The Speakers leadership up to this point has not warranted this action by Mr. Meadows, Walberg said in an interview. I dont know why Mr. Meadows did it. I dont support him in that. Were friends but I have a lot of friends who have done things I dont agree with. Mark and I will have a conversation.
Even lawmakers who are often Boehner foes think the resolution is an ill-advised strategy.

So what? There’s no difference between them anyway, what is there to lose?
The Washington Cartel (RINOs) are happy to have the things in life that we, the normal people of America, can't have and probably won't ever have because they are sucking us dry...
Well it's time to stop it....and we need to let the people in the government know (1) we are done with your antics and (2) we want someone to represent us, normal, non politicians in Washington....
This is so typical and is totally sickening and should be a major SCANDAL
Thanks for bringing it to attention.
Sickening!
What makes us look like a banana republic is sending 435 representatives to the House, but then letting only four or five "leaders" decide everything while everyone else is a rubberstamp.

Sounds like Mr. Walberg needs to hear from his constituents on his faulty thinking regarding Boehner. I've already contacted my Congress critter in support of Meadows' "coup plot", and I hope he succeeds.
How the hell does anyone in the House know what a ‘real’ Conservative wants,,,and when did they start caring about that?
We look like a banana republic because we don’t have leaders in congress who will stand up to the president’s unconstitutional behavior. Rep. King does not comprehend the fact that while republicans now control congress, as a collective body they have performed, so far, no different than the democrats and America’s pissant, democrat senator Harry Reid.
Look in the mirror Mr. Boehner. What you see is the reason democrats might do better.
“Quite ironic isn’t it? Attempting to remove the leadership that has been intentionally dividing the party would “divide the party.””
King is a GOPe dolt. With a name like Peter King, he ought to apply for a job as a bouncer in a gay bar.

Walberg is a rock-ribbed conservative. The only think he must be thinking is that Meadows went about it wrong?
Huh, all you can do is take to the cameras and shove your face to rant against fellow GOP members who don't happen to like the criminal way John Boehner is muscling conservatives to shut them down, ala Tim Huelskamp from KS!!!
You are a real paper tiger. Put up or shut up Peter King!
Thanks for the link
I don't know anything about Walhberg, but what I have observed is that many are "rock ribbed" conservatives when the party hierarchy lets them, but when it comes to opposing the hierarchy, they are timid little sheep.
Youll never hear any of the GOPES (government over the people {Republican} elite statists) ever dare say why everything that comes out from this regime is a lie or call them the godless,.
Seemingly afraid to remind voters the democrat (in name only) party kicked out any reference to God in their 2012 National Convention. Let alone suggest they’re a democrat in name only not in meaning, party.
Or even speculate why democrats lie so much is because they dont believe in God or there are the Ten Commandments or even believe there is such a thing as sin.
Why ? Because its not being bi-partisan.

What cave has Walberg been living in?

Tim Walberg isn’t one of them.
