In part one of our three-day conversation with Camille Paglia, the brilliant cultural critic talked Bill Cosby, Bill Clinton and the odd, persistent return of 90s political correctness. Today she takes on even hotter-button topics: Religion and atheism, Jon Stewarts Daily Show legacy, liberals and Fox News, and presidential candidates Donald Trump and Sen. Bernie Sanders.

From salon mag via Breitbart.com but I simply wanted to point out to Camille, there are alot of folks right here on FR that are funnier than jon stew-hart for a lot less money. Proceed at your own risk to the three part series. Too involved for me to devote that much time to.

Camille Paglia, the brilliant cultural critic Most people would use simpler language and call her a smart-ass b!tch.
Personally, I can't stand her.

Personally, I call her a brilliant cultural critic. She slices and dices Jon Stewart quite adeptly. What’s not to like?

Paglia is a world class mind. I don’t agree with many of her conclusions, but you can clearly see her logic in arriving at her conclusions. She is someone like Daniel Patrick Moynihan, not a political ally, but someone I would love to have a substantive conversation with.

On the few occasions I have seen John Stewart’s show, I didn’t find him very funny.

I thought he started out funny but within a few years degenerated into a pompous know-it-all.

Right.
Being smart doesn't mean you're wise, prescient or have good instincts.

Camille Paglia may be the only honest liberal left on the planet. Her opinions are worth paying attention to.

Alex Jones is hysterical on some issues especially homos and NPR hosts.
Limbaugh, Anthony Cumia, Gavin McInnes and Ann Coulter would probably funnier than Stewart if they only had to run a 20 minute show.
