Riding a wave of non-stop publicity, a new poll shows mogul Donald Trump solidly in first place among 256 likely Republican primary and caucus voters nationwide, says pollster John Zogby, who reveals that the billionaire is now in the lead with support from 20 percent of likely primary voters overall. The percentage is even higher among women voters.
Jeb Bush is in second place with 16 percent, followed by Gov. Scott Walker, Sen. Rand Paul, Ben Carson, Sen. Marco Rubio, Mike Huckabee, Sen. Ted Cruz, and Govs. Chris Christie, John Kasich and Bobby Jindal.
Mr. Bush bests Mr. Trump among all Republicans and among male voters. Mr. Trump, however, triumphs among conservatives, independents and female voters. He has a huge lead among women, Mr. Zogby said - 26 percent to Mr. Bushs 10 percent, and 7 percent for Mr. Walker.
This is not the first survey which reveals Mr. Trump has appeal for women voters - support deemed crucial by analysts who have also warned that the candidates style might not appeal to the ladies. The findings suggest otherwise. A new Washington Post-ABC News poll also found that he leads among the GOP female demographic, garnering 23 percent of the vote, with Mr. Walker in second with 16 percent - and Mr. Bush a distant third with 8 percent.

“The dopey doughboy Jeb turns chicks off”
Bingo. Jeb is a limp wrist, a wet rag, a blob.
Obama and Jimmy Carter have never been divorced.....'Nuff said.
Call their cronys first and declare it at an end when calling real folks throws it too much askew ;)
It was all that talk of Ivana feeling “violated” during sex.
But wait, the consultants say this is wrong, that women do not want conflict. The women want compromise, compassion and the “new tone” of the modern metrosexual male.
You’re right!!!
“This is more confirmation that my own sex can’t handle the vote.”
Baloney. It just means you can’t handle the vote. Go slam your own sex elsewhere. The majority of us here can handle both Trump AND the vote. Trump is just one man you can’t control. Hah, got the vapors?
He will have to hang on to his appeal to ‘moderates’- like women- without alienating conservatives.
It’s a tough job ahead of him.
The shallowness is amazing
“This will be resolved at the polls. Gosh are you folks in for a lesson.
You dont have to be a soothsayer to see what the future holds for you politically.”
Bravo, bravo, well said!
Yes, and therefore they must trot out the ex-wife story.
“Mr. Trump, however, triumphs among conservatives, independents and female voters.”
The lead off of the article suggests that, but I was referring to the above quote from the article. I didn’t think Republicans would be referred to as “independents”.
Trump would never be a Walmart greeter.
I’m not saying I will vote for him....I don’t know yet, but he has some good qualities and possibly the major ones are he is unafraid, won’t be cowed, and he backs it up with action.
What family? His bimbo collection?
Thank you FlagLady47.
Maybe some women...
His daughter is no bimbo. He raised her well.
As soon as his wife (wives) and daughters hit the trail the men will support Trumps crew. Tiffany will pull in all the young set with her connections. She’s quite the NYC socialite
Pretty sure women are not happy with Caitlin.
They want a real man to stand up and take the reigns and stop the madness.
John Kasich attends gay wedding.
Obama gays up the rainbow house.
...and who can forget the Al Gore face smash “kiss” during his presidential run - hell that was the closest thing to rape on TV since Saturday Night Fever.
When all the other candidates, like Linda Graham are beta males at best and closeted homosexuals at worst - women are looking for a John Wayne - a man ready to yell “Fill your hands you sonofabitch!!” and charge into the fight.
