I always knew "The Simpsons" was a show ahead of its time. But, not even I remembered that the show had predicted the idea of President Donald Trump way back in 2000.
The Simpsons predicted President Trump in 2000 That scene, as loyal Simpsons fans like myself remember, comes from an episode called "Bart to the Future" in which the show jumps ahead 30 years (to 2030) and imagines what each of the main characters will be doing. Lisa Simpson has just been elected president, following Trump's tenure in office.
