What if petroleum abiogenesis could be demonstrated... that would make oil sustainable now, wouldn’t it?
Just pass a new law in 2031. Problem solved.
A nice, sustainable place where all can live as close neighbors, with a supply of food and health care that reduces obesity and geriatric problems, and access to work within walking distance?
And gate that says “Arbeit Macht Frei”.
Sounds like the CEO isn’t make the green that he expected to make. It’s going to take longer to become a multi-millionaire.
“Green-energy CEO: Vermonters must abandon the car, embrace renewable energy future”
Or........die?
Does this jackass even know Vermont’s gun laws?
There is no such thing as climate change free energy. Physics requires that all energy production affects climate change. There is no way around the physics. Solar panels cause less light reflection from the surface of the planet. Wind Turbines decrease the energy in the atmosphere. Nuclear power plants release massive amounts of water vapor.
The Middle Class should ditch the car right after the Upper Class ditches the airplane.
That source article says Agenda 21 all over it.
LOL
Sad too...
Purchase laws that force people to buy your product.
Why didn't I think of this?
“Green energy” is “energy that earns the green”.
Now that Vermont has a mandate to get 75 percent of its electricity from renewable energy sources by 2032, residents will have to ditch automobiles and embrace a whole new way of life, the states top renewable energy CEO says.
_____________
So what does renewable electricity have to do with cars?
Stupid. Except in big cities like New York or Boston you need a car. What they really hate:
1. the independence that a car gives
2. the fact that some have a better car than others. Everybody should drive the same car (except the ruling elite).
Well does that mean a comeback of the the horse and carriage? I know the buggy whip manufactures will be happy.
All of this sustainable energy will not work the way these idiots think and there is no way they can achieve a 75% goal.
Now of they embrace Thorium Power plants then they make a different and better progress.
Residents will have to ditch vegetables and switch to an all hamburger diet, the CEO of McDonald's says.
Residents will have to ditch UPS and FedEx and switch to mail, the head of the post office says.
Residents will have to ditch pants and switch to kilts, the CEO of Scottish-wear says.
Vermont’s a small state. Let’m walk.
since the states are making this goal “mandatory,” it is obvious that we can stop paying the Production Tax Credit.
“Now that Vermont has a mandate to get 75 percent of its electricity from renewable energy sources by 2032, residents will have to ditch automobiles and embrace a whole new way of life, the states top renewable energy CEO says.”
I am confused. The Act is about electricity generation. Why the emphasis on cars?
