President Barack Obama has admitted that his failure to pass "common sense gun safety laws" in the US is the greatest frustration of his presidency.
In an interview with the BBC, Mr Obama said it was "distressing" not to have made progress on the issue "even in the face of repeated mass killings".
He vowed to keep trying, but the BBC's North America editor Jon Sopel said the president did not sound very confident.

“Frustration” in the title is a curious word choice. It has two related definitions. The emotional state at not being able to do something as often observed in children, and the more sinister defintion of an impedement that prevents one from completing a plan or task. Here it should be taken as the second meaning, e.g. something that is preventing Zero from completing his grand design (a marxist police state/dictatorship).
It's in the face of repeated mass killings by statists that we see the Second Amendment as a life-or-death issue.

It seems to me that mass murder by use of guns has increased since he’s been in office. It makes me wonder who and how the government is paying to do it.

Interesting. Violent crime had been trending down since the mid 1990s - in spite of the impression people get from the media hype. I wonder if lone gunman mass shootings (as a subgroup ) are trending up under bammy’s watch? Have to check into that.
An armed citizenry is frustrating to would-be dictators.
Yet, on a nearly daily basis, the lib-progs post Facebook memes about how Obama hasn’t seized anybody’s firearms. When you try to inject some reality like this article or the info from a little over a month ago about his puppetmaster Jarrett saying essentially the same thing about being frustrated on this goal. The sycophant level continues to rise and “1984” is looking more prescient all the time.
I wish somebody would seriously investigate the trend since Obama has been in office. The mass murders seem to have increased a lot. The media is hell-bent on reporting it over and over. It’s scare tactics. Gun control has been on the liberal left’s agenda and they have been pounding it hard. What better way to ‘prove’ that we need gun control or gun confiscation than to have the mass murder rate go up? Obama doesn’t care about people killed by guns. He wants the majority to be disarmed. His is the government our forefathers warned us about. Everyday liberals are just stupid and don’t see, or don’t care, how dangerous he is.
We’ve all seen the way Hitler and other dictators took over. The first thing they did was take away the means for people to protect themselves from the government by convincing people that they would be safer without guns and that the government would protect them.
The left is trying to prove that regular citizens can’t be trusted with guns and that guns owned privately are the guns that are being used by criminals. They think that by ridding citizens of guns that criminals won’t be able to get them. THAT is how they will justify confiscation. Of course, they can’t get what they don’t know you have.
Maybe the Dear Leader could lead by example and make the White House a gun-free zone.
That's just the frustrations he's talked about publicly -- he hasn't been frustrated by other things, such as his "common sense" crushing of dissent and the Constitution using illegal activities by the IRS, the DoJ, the INS et al, his former and his current Sec'ys of State...
