Wednesday on Fox News Channels Hannity, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, sounded off on one of his opponents, real estate mogul Donald Trump, and why he considered him to be an asset to the contest. According to the junior Texas senator, Trump is taking on the Washington establishment, particularly on the immigration issue.

Go Sen. Cruz!
Cruz to Victory!
Heads up
There are times when issues present the scenario for a certain kind of warrior. That specialist in close quarter combat for that fight of fights. He doesn’t have to be a tactician, master battle planner, logistician or any of that. All he need do is battle unashamedly.
Trump is no political genius, no artful dodger of policy or diplomatic words. What he brings to conservatives is a badly needed position on illegals that is not sullied by duplicity or politics.
We shall see if he has peaked. And we shall see if he ventures outside this bellwether issue to become a threat to the other two candidates that amount to anything.
Regardless, if he can keep Jeb Bush from getting the nomination by drawing away any support from those of us that may be disposed to believing Jeb’s lies, all the better. First and foremost, keeping Jeb from the nomination should be Job One for all conservatives.
And Cruz will be in position for a major roll in the next administration.
I think Cruz’s actions will help mitigate the Donald from forming a third party run. Of course that may mean Trump will want a VP spot which may not play up to his ego, plus how do you keep someone like that reigned in?
I’d like to see some signs at JEB’s events that say:
ANYONE BUT JEB!
YES!
EVEN HILLARY!
Trump is CEO or nothing.
Keep in mind that Trump hasn't even started running commercials. When he does they will be profession and powerful. And they will be everywhere.
Most likely Cruz will be Veep.
That said, I am a Cruz supporter, with Walker second.
But if Trump pulls it off and gets the nom, I will support him.
16 years of Ted Cruz in the White House bump!
Amen to that.
El-BUMP-O !
Ted knows the value of leverage when he sees it.
