While Republican frontrunner Donald Trump gleefully attacks members of the GOP Establishment and media, the GOP Establishment seem to believe its a good idea to run to the mainstream media and attack Republican voters.
First Sen. John McCain (R-AZ)43% ran to the Left-wing New Yorker to attack 15,000 GOP base voters as crazies. Wednesday, the GOP Establishment went even further.
Rick Wilson, a top Establishment Republican message and media strategist ran to Politico to attack Trumps supporters as clowns.
According to the most recent national poll, Trump is garnering support from 25% of the GOP base. Which means that a top Establishment strategist believes it is a smart strategy to smear 25% of the GOPs most loyal voters as clowns:
The circus is almost over.
My advice to Trump fans?
Dont be the last clown out of the tent.
Brilliant.
Keep in mind that this is the same GOP Establishment privately and publicly lecturing Trump about tone.
Let me run this down for you
McCain is calling Republican voters crazies, a top GOP strategist is trashing 25% of the GOP base as clowns, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC)47% is calling Trump a jackass, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)80% is saying Trump has no class, Rick Perry is declaring Trump a circus sideshow but it is Trump being lectured by The Establishment to watch his tone.
Personally, Ill vote for Jeb Bush before I vote for Donald Trump. But that doesnt mean I cant see that the Republican Party is making a gigantic, hypocritical ass of itself. That, however, I can live with.

And this is where they'll draw their line in the sand. It was long going to be Bush vs Clinton. This is what they were serving up all along. All the other players on the stage are window dressing for these folks.
The real bo$$es who own these politicos have little preference between those two.
They didn't expect Trump.
Watch the big party insiders handing out clothes pin in a few months. They'll say, "We have no choice, we must support Bush over Trump for the good of the country".
It's coming.
Trump is scolded for “name calling” by the worst offenders of name calling.
Quote:
“We have no choice, we must support Bush over Trump for the good of the country”.”
What country?
So technically you’ll vote for the Democrat party if the person who’s money has nursed the Clinton’s for so many years isn’t on the Primary ballet?
Trump would thank you for making his investments count for something.
Trump is ahead because the establishment has no respect for their base and call them clowns and crazies. They lied to us for our votes and betrayed us 100 percent. Trump is taking up the issues the establishment threw in the garbage can. As for “tone”, well those who are “moderating their tone” have contributed to the most radical transformation of our country ever. They should be running down the hallway screaming “fire” but they are talking in a monotone while Rome burns and contributing to the demise of the Republic. America has been slapping them in the face and saying “Snap out of it you idiots!” They ignored us at the tea party rallies. Now we have Trump taking a ball bat to their heads and WE THE PEOPLE know it is long overdue. I for one hope he does not moderate his tone. He speaks for many voices that have been silenced.
No joke. Getting thrown another $50 million during the next presidential term isn’t enough in life? Dude has a serious lack of self-awareness, which seems to be considered a virtue in American politics. Dude needs his family to send him to a luxury cabin on the shore of Lake Michigan with guards to make sure he doesn’t leave.
^ballot - time for bed
It’s the border control that has pushed their buttons.
If you are for border control you are a clown
And the Republicans don’t want you around
Well, bye.
You and me both. I hope Trump isn’t playing.......I’d vote for him and have no problem with him as POTUS. I cry when I see what we’ve got except for Dr. Carson who hasn’t got a snowballs chance in hell I fear.....;(
Sorry, I don’t want legalizing but I would support decriminalizing, and let states decide.
We’ve got more important things to spend money on than putting people in prison for growing and partaking in something proven less dangerous than alcohol.
The war on drugs has been a colossal failure so far. It’s time to start fighting it a different way.
I am also for choking off the southern border, but any one who believes that will slow the flow of drugs into this country is delusional.
It’s simple capitalism that’s the answer. Supply and Demand. If you get demand under control, supply dries up. The other way around has never worked.
Never mind all that, just be sure to grab some clothes pins the RNC will be handing out in few months. It’s for the good of the party!
Wilson has “ran over to POLITICO” before,,to bash Christie,,trying to figure out why Wilson is considered a top republican strategist...?
That’s the link to Wilson’s Christie article.
After they have insulted us, they’ll want us to rally round their guy.
Fat chance.
Cruz and Trump are the only two guys in the race I’m interested in. The rest are nonentities.
OMG Rick Wilson apparently writes quite a bit for POLITICO. I’m still trying to figure out who he is.
The GOP now must believe that calling a sizable percentage of their potential voters names is a winning strategy.
Well nothing else is working for them.
FOX Radio said a few hours ago that Trump has promised to “tone it down” if he is elected President.
I, for one, hope he ramps it up if elected and sworn in.
Both the democrats and the GOPe need a can of whoop ass opened up on them.
Is that the best the GOP-E has?
