I lived in Sarasota for 11 years, 15 years ago ...
Great little town to raise a family...
Recently went back, certain areas, (lots of illegals) have really changed the town...
Sarasota has become a quasi-sanctuary city...
They city passed "Florida Compact" but won't enforce it..

For those who ordered that birdfeeder, I trust that they have protection in place against raccoons and squirrels.
I had some bird feeders delivered to my new house in the spring (no security alert was generated) but have been dealing with squirrels and raccoons in the middle of the night latching themselves to the feeder. Trying all sorts of things.
