Retired neurosurgeon and presidential candidate Ben Carson said Tuesday that he thinks the focus on Donald Trump's recent incendiary comments is "petty" and that the real estate mogul has no reason to drop out of the 2016 race.
"For us to get caught up in a controversy of well, 'What did Donald Trump mean when he said that?' -- It just seems so petty to me," Carson told reporters after speaking to a group of teenage Republicans in Arlington, Va.

Several Republican presidential contenders have said Trump should be disqualified from the presidential race for saying that Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) is not a war hero. Carson disagreed.
"I’m not sure from listening to what he said that he think that Mr. McCain is not a hero," Carson said. "He has repeatedly said yes, he is a hero, so I don’t know where that comes from that he’s disqualified."

[There is absolutely no reason to think trump would even remember who Carson is.] Another big fat statement of yours. What information do you have that you can look into the future and predict this?
It may be time for carraway seed to put away the crystal ball and return to reality.
Again, do you have even the slightest scintilla of proof of that statement. That is entirely your own wish fulfillment. The reality is there is more chance Obama would make Carson the surgeon general. Carson will never rate with Trump. And Trump has no intention of running for president.

Here is a list of things Trump fans think Trump will do when he "becomes" president:
1. He will make Sarah Palin his Secretary of State
2. He will reduce the tax rate to 2%, while simultaneously balancing the budget.
3. He will convert all of Saudi Arabia into evangelical Christians and make it the 51st state.
4. He will put Ronald Reagan on the $1 bill.
5. He will replace MSNBC with a channel that airs nothing but Clint Eastwood movies.
6. He will have a half hour conversation with Ruth Bader Ginsberg that the Constitution means what it says it means, and she will immediately overrule every decision she's been in the majority on, since she was nominated.
7. He will sign an executive order that henceforth ALL desserts will have zero calories.
8. He will personally prosecute Bill and Hillary Clinton, and they will be convicted on 1,037 counts ranging from Whitewater, to Vince Foster's faked suicide.
9. He will set a nationwide standard that all sixth graders have to spend the entire year reading Thomas Sowell Books. And all students will have to read Atlas Shrugged at least once a year during high school, and memorize a chapter.
10. He will make a hostile acquisition for Planned Parenthood and convert them all into crisis pregnancy centers.
11. He will challenge Chuck Norris to a fist fight and break his jaw and put him into intensive care.
12. He will hang signs that say "Piso Mojado," and no more immigrants will enter the country, because they are so worried about slipping. And he will force the United Nations to pay for the signs AND assume liability if anyone actually slips.
13. He will speed read Agenda 21, and find out there is a secret word, when said on the floor of the U.N. which automatically ends the Agenda 21 project and causes the U.N. to shut down, and everyone go to their respective. homes.
14. He will lock Michael Moore into a small room for the rest of his like, where he is forced to reenact Roger and Me with inferior Chinese puppets for 20 hours a day.
15. He will personally give advice to the owner of your favorite football team that allows them to win the Super Bowl for the next five years!
Trump! He will fufill every fantasy we've ever had!

Do you have a scintilla of proof that Trump will never work with Carson? Or that he can’t win the presidency? How do you know what his motives are?
Well, I may have to take another look at Dr Carson. He gets a big attaboy for not piling on.
My criteria includes distorted his immigration policy and then attacking that.
all who speak up for Trump now will be remembered by Trump.
I count myself as a cautious skeptic. He could nudge things in the right direction, but if he accomplishes nothing more than totally and permanently discrediting the mainstream media and forcing the other candidates to at least talk about issues otherwise ignored, it will be monumental.
Cruz is my choice, but Ben is a class act. I could support him if he wins.

Very. Imagine the field is narrowed down to one who wins and the rest join the cabinet in their own fields to promote our conservative agenda. Imagine that.
Precisely. Trump is signaling that every day. He keeps saying if he gets treated decently, he will treat you decently. If Trump were to win, he would remember who his friends were.
With this post, I think carraway has been hitting the sauce or the seeds have finally fermented.
